And if no one has said it other then Kolyana...Thanks for taking the time & effort to type that sucker up! 👍.... I'm sure alot of other drivers, regardless of current division, will certainly garnish a lot of information from it!

After reading your guide I was 1.5 sec faster @ T2 alone. Many many thanks. This is my 1st WRS btw.

I give up :)

T2 1:04.552
T4 2:10.485
T7 3:47.224
T9 4:40.088

I've been a little bit faster, but this was my fastest clean lap

Division 2, DFP

Vexd, You da bomb kid! 👍 👍 👍

I gave this a first try today, finally.
I managed T2's into the 1'06's, T4's in the 2'14's and T9's in the 4'50's.

I don't have a clean lap yet, though.

I restarted the lap at least 60-70 times, today alone. And most of them where before T2.

I will try some more later, and then submit - hopefully - whenever I manage a clean lap.

Later.

The Wizard.

VEXD that was an awsome write-up~

ive read the whole thing and cannot really spot where your losing too much time

it sounds almost how im doing it

in 6th by the time you get there, and brake in a straight line into 3rd gear for the right. This corner catches me, so be careful to follow your own pattern if it worx for you, but i brake straight down to third, then floor it and turn. Flat out for ages now.

k for this turn, your gonna need to keep the car as wide as possibly while ur braking and then sending it to the inside of the corner, where the major banking will help pull your car through in 3rd gear and hopefully give you lotsa momentum up the hill

Yes! I can feeeeeeel it too! Lol. Thanks Vexd for the write up! When I first read it, I suspected that you were using 320 gearing, but then as I went out and drove it afterwards(at 3AM), I found that I could be doing the same shifts with 330, although sometimes it seemed a bit boggy. But then you say you hit 191 once, I've hit 192mph there many times, probably 102.9mph even, but not quite 103, although very close... So anywho, my times are going to improve like I want them too after I get a clean lap! w00

Thanks man!

Last night after reading that, but not running any clean laps, I hit a T2 of 1'05.045, and a T4 of 2'11.9xx, the best that I've done so far...

Haven't read vexd's write-up yet but I'm now just .4s away from my goal. Only if I can stop being so sloppy around some of the corners.

This new time is gonna look better on the leaderboard but I'm still not catching unified any time soon with those T2's... I've yet to see 1'04s even on the fast, dirty laps. :yuck:

T2: 1'05.431
T4: 2'10.705
T7: 3'48.291
T9: 4'41.074

Sorry guys, have to give up on this one. Can't seem to get a clean lap (after 3 hours of driving). I do like the car and track though, really awesome combination!

I have not checked my T times against this thread, but I can imagine they are very slow. I don't car about T-times yet, just getting around the track at a reasonable pace without crashing would be nice.

Oh well, better luck next week.

ARGH! Frustrating to the max... Just spent an hour, hit one good T2, I was QUITE amazed, it was ALL in one spot, and it was FAST. 1'04.76x, on to get a 2'11.4xx T4, on to get trashed after going through the high speed section and trying something new and going MUCH faster through it than I'm used to, and didn't leave enough room for braking. Gawd. And now I can't get a clean T2 without messing something up and running a 1'06+. *sigh* Next weeks should go better... This is just tooooo much, oye.

if i had a little bit more time...

my final T Times:.
T2- 1'04.233
T4- 2'09.023
T7- 3'44.969
T9- 4'36.282

still losing time on the T10 T11:banghead:
time submited
see you racers next week
good luck:tup:

I can now run T2-1'05.xxx's and T4-2'11.xxx's consistantly, but I can't seem to keep the car on the road anymore. That leaves me with...

T2 - 1'06.543
T4 - 2'13.759
T7 - 3'54.722
T9 - 4'51.125

... and a passionate disliking for the Audi.

Nice write up Vxed. Now If I can just get a clean run to maybe use it.

I will tell you though, that I was doing what ya said in first area, and even after reading it was able to manage STAYING in 4th though the most of the turns in first section, except the right / left before long run just before T1., where I have kicked to 3rd and hit 4th as I turn left.

That is when I started hiting T2's around 1' 06.xxx (1'06.020 is best )

Few more hours after work for me to try to get a clean run, but not keeping my hopes up. Guess I will be redy for S-16 after all this though.

I just managed to give this combo a try for the very first time (better late than never):

T2: 1'05.123
T4: 2'11.808
T7: 3'49.668
T9: 4'43.061

It's a clean lap but hopefully i'll run a few more before the deadline tomorrow.

Is it just me or do any of you clench the steering wheel with a really tight grip? :nervous: I'm holding on in fear of my virtual life while going over those bumps at 150 mph+.

I'm using the DS2 and my thumb hurts after a while haha

t4 - 2'07.770
and i go on to angst kurve and screw myself by taking it flat out...
but theres no other way i lose alot of time by not taking it flat out~

I'm getting quite frustrated with this combo(I already said that, but had to say it again), I have done probably 4 or 5 T1s that would be good for 1'04 T2s, but only managed to keep two of them, with the last one being a 1'04.725. But then I'll mess it up before I get a 1/4 of the way through the track... :ouch: Now the last hour has been spent doing the T2 section, why I'm spending time on it I don't know, but I keep trying to go fast and keep messing up, and it's not even my problem area. :embarrassed:

And Kolyana, don't worry too much, you're probably faster than I am in the last half of the track... Well, I'm decent at it now, but I can't get that far... I did one more clean lap earlier today, only to not go decently fast anywhere, and then mess up enough at the entrance to the straight that I lost to my ghost by a tenth or two instead of beating it by half a second or so. Pointless. :yuck:

Oye oye oye.

It's a killer, for sure ... so many corners are crucial for the forthcoming straight to come ... you have to exit them fast ... and yet in so doing you find yourself pushing beyond that fine, fine line and suddenly you're spinning out on the grass again.

Here you go Koly. New times for you. SRD, I'm closing in the gap.

After 2 grueling hours, I've managed to break my record, not once, but twice.

T2 1:06.063 (I've seen 1:05.6xx, can't seem to keep them)
T4 2:12.616 (It's about time)
T7 3:51.207 (Thanks to T4)
T9 4:45.259 (This is my strong section)

Overall a 2.5 second improvement

I doubt I'm racing again: Monday nights are a ight off for me before the next WRS starts up, and there are too many new guys suddenly in D3 for me to be trying to beat them all :P

Yeah, on my last run I just lost .3 or .4 from T9 to the end, but not a big deal because I still kept decent speed throughout, by trying to go 90% instead of pushing it :)

thank god i finally hit my lap
lost .150 on the final turn... had so much understeer i couldnt turn in :grumpy:

been playin for 4 hours straight... mayb a lil more, i was gonna go crazy.

t2 - 1'04.081
t4 - 2'08.032
t7 - 3'42.018
t9 - 4'33.023

kinda wierd how t2 .081 is mirror of t7 .018 ~ and how t4 .032 is mirror of t9 .023

im scared of rudi~ i think he is the king of the ring~ :D
