*deep breathing sounds* I am the Master now! Well for a short time anyway! *deep breathing sounds*

A quote from Darth Weary:sly:

Neil

Quick session with this weeks combo.....

Buick forward,

T1 0'14.675
T2 0'32.015
T3 1'04.371

Merc reverse,

T1 0'26.956
T2 1'00.137
T3 1'16.477

T3 totals = 2'20.858 :D

Probably the best way round for me. I can't seem to get on with the Bri....Buick going in reverse. :yuck:

Sports soft's all round and no aids.

Need to get some race time in for the DTM championship now though.

Darren.

Just finished a decent Buick Reverse lap, did the Merc. forwards last night for a couple minutes before I went to bed. I guess I'll have to try going the other way around next time though before I get too caught up going this way...

Merc. Forward:
14.331
31.086
1'04.369

Boo-ick(as my Grandpa who owns one says) Reverse:
27.234
1'00.032
1'16.994

14.331+27.234= 41.544
31.086+1'00.032= 1'31.118
1'04.369+1'16.994= 2'21.363

I'll get another few seconds off by the end of the week, between driving better and going the other direction it appears.

American Muscle!!! 30lbs of boost! Whewwww Sounds like fun.
*sigh* I wish! If this thing had 30lbs of boost it'd be well over 500hp... My friend has one of these engines in his Volvo... 12.5 quarter miles. Low 20psi boost. In the game the boost guage shows like 3-5psi... This Buick's pretty sweet though, as long as you remember it's not a handling machine by any stretch of the imagination... Being based off of a generic crappy floaty GM grandpa car and all. At least it looks pretty good and goes well for what it is! I like it, because you'd think it couldn't even manage that... I love the wheels too, I use them on many cars.

i like how in the photo you put the cars into an orientation apprapo to the week number.
And what do you think about the relationship between the week number and the thread title ?

...

Yes, there is one :mischievous:

Update from me, after another 5/6 laps in each

Buick Forward

T1 14.953
T2 31.941
T3 1'04.280

Merc Reverse

T1 26.833
T2 59.662
T3 1'16.113

Combined T3 1'04.280+1'16.113=2'20.393

Sorry Colby, swapped the cars round so you'll have to change that too! Puts me infront of Shockwave!

Neil

First event in about 20 weeks, and I'm hoping to give daan and Kyle a run for their money in Div 2! :mischievous:

T2 31.663
T3 1'03.886

T3 1'15.354

This is another week I will be sitting out of. :yuck: I'm out for a few days (Swindon) and I am doing other things elsewhere.

New splits...and a headache!

Buick, forward.

T1 0'14.684
T2 0'31.444
T3 1'03.800

190 E, reverse.

T1 0'26.321
T2 0'59.471
T3 1'16.031

T3+T3= 2'19.831 :D Took around 2 seconds off at the line, on the combined totals.

Happy with these for now as they put me back in front of Balls......do keep up Neil. :sly: :)

I prefered week 48(i think) to this, the cars are too slow, and the tracks too boring....untill.....you stick N1's on and drift your was to last place.

merc-reverse
32.275
1.10.597
1.29.717

buick-forward
in the making

Buick / reverse improved by 0.041 with slower T times :
T1 = 27.176
T2 = 1'01.022
T3 = 1'17.631

Merc / forward improved by much :
T1 = 14.459
T2 = 31.273
T3 = 1'03.658

New total times :
41.635 / 1'32.195 / 2'21.289

And what do you think about the relationship between the week number and the thread title ?

Yes, there is one :mischievous:

actually... that one i have no clue on.
but this is an interesting coincidence.

New splits for me, easy to get to grips with both of these cars. 👍

Buick (forward)
T1 14.632
T2 31.434
T3 1'03.609

Mercedes (reverse)
T1 26.030
T2 58.795
T3 1'14.854

"The Office" office was in Slough, but they had some employees, like the black guy, the Welsh girl and the girl in the wheelchair that came over from the Swindon office when they closed that branch, so yeah, same Swindon :)

Sorry to bugger up your board by posting new splits as you were doing the update too! :mischievous:!

lol...don't worry, happens more often than you'd think...ironically I hit "refresh" just before I actually performed the update and then voila! Your splits were there :)

I tried the Buick for a few laps and thought better of it. I'll pass on this week. I'll take the AMEMIYA to Grand Valley Speedway Reverse! 👍

Good luck everyone...

Div 3

T2: 32.581
T3: 1'05.334

:guilty: I don't know why but today I went and did the race, i'm not really
having fun but for some reson I did the race anyway.
Maybe it's true that the WRS is a sickness that is hard to get a cure for:scared:.

Purty darn good there Darren!!! 👍

Good to have you back indeed! But, uhm, you're going kind of fast... :)👍 Awesome laps! I just went and played some more using the proper cars on the proper directions, and knocked off more than 3 seconds overall between the two and thought I was doing well... :ouch:

Aww, come on now, try just a couple more laps... It's not bad, once you get used to it. Same with most combos, but in some combos the initial opinions are stronger because of car brands. :sly:

So, here we are then, for now. Will very likely be back later tonight with faster splits, for the Mercedes at least.

Buick Forward:
14.563
31.572
1'03.861

Mercedes Reverse:
26.187
59.353
1'15.629

Combined:
T1: 40.750
T2: 1'30.925
T3: 2'19.490

T3 1'14.854
Grrrr! I can see maybe 1'15.2 right now the way I'm taking the turns, but definitely not that fast!

New Mercedes Reverse lap(I'll edit it into the above post for you Colby)
26.187(almost .8 faster)
59.353(around .7 faster)
1'15.629(around .8 faster)

Only half a second faster at the line though...

Should I keep it quiet that I shaved a massive 65/1000ths off my Buick lap and have a T3 of 1'03.545 now then? :mischievous:

I've tried & tried and I can't seem to get the Merc any faster than that. That lap I had the car by the scruff of the neck and just about throttled the poor thing to death.

On the plus side for you, my parents are visiting from England and arrive back here on Friday evening, so I'll not have any more time to practice. I'm pretty much stuck with what I've got now and I don't expect it to stack up against you lot and 4 days extra racing! :scared: :nervous: :scared:

Sorry MisterWeary, I should have posted all the new splits for the Buick lap, as its .575 and not .545 for T3 as I first thought. Did it before I went out for dinner and thought I'd committed it to memory properly, but I just watched the replay to double check and it turns out I was wrong! :dopey:

T1 14.560
T2 31.424
T3 1'03.575
