Alright, well I decided to go with the flow, and use the Buick forwards. Here's what I have so far, but I'll just make it known. I am APPAULINGLY bad at the twisty bit on the reverse track. So I've kind of given up on that and have just started drifting there...

nice times gpkart:tup: time submitted to flat-out (incorrectly as flat-out pointed out:dopey: )

some fukwit smashed me in the hip yesterday with a hockey stick so i can barely sit down (or walk for that matter) at the moment, so i am submitting times that i managed earlier in the week... bring on WRS #70

TIME SUBMITTED

Pull a Buick lap out of my Ass

T1 - 14.457
T2 - 31.040
T3 - 1'02.993

Sorry Colby.

Sorry Colby.

No you're not....:sly:

Did hours of driving over the weekend with no improvements. :indiff: I'll be submitting my board times in a minute.

Keeping fingers crossed I'll get my first ever podium. :D

Edit: Time submitted. 👍

Submitting my lap, only 2.1 second difference between the two

EDIT: Just re-read the rules this week. The times based on the aggregate time! Nice touch Cyril, should make things twice as tight as week 48

I'm at 0.021 difference! I wanted them both the same! :(

Buick
Forward
14.723
31.374
1'03.814

Merc
Reverse
26.256
59.100
1'15.261

Time submitted

Cyril got my time PM on Friday.
No improvements from my last set of posted splits as I haven't raced since! :dunce:

Good luck all, see you at the finish line. (about 3s behind holl01 most likely! :grumpy: )

Sorry mate, it's not going to be this week. I'm planning on trimming another second overall before I submit tonight... Key word, planning. I know I'll get at least a half second minimum though.

This is probably the least effort I've ever put into a race that I've bothered to still submit a time. But I wonder how I'll do when I try for an hour, but don't put effort into a race for a week.

Atta boy!

Another 15 laps into the Mercedes:

26.072
59.033
1'15.267
And .7xx at the line... 👍

I'll go at the Buick for a bit after a shower and some laundry, but I'm tired from this weekend, so we'll see what I manage. If I get something I'm satisfied with soon enough, I might hop back into the Merc for tenth fishing...

Noooooo.....

👍 :)
Thanks mate! Just hopped out of my GNX, of which I've definitely grown a liking... After this suprising improvement that came quite quickly, I went into GT Mode and fully modded the car and did a few laps at SSR5 Reverse from last week... :)

14.655
31.340
1'03.528(.514 faster at the line...)

w00! That came on my 6th lap, I was quite suprised... I'm using ALL of the track in a couple places on that lap, if you know what I mean. :sly: So I think that'll be it for me this week, no second stint tonight in the Merc, even if my Booick lap is 2 tenths faster than the Merc the other way round... Gotta get some sleep! I might have a go at next week's race tomorrow morning before I go to work.

Thanks for the competition this week guys! It seemed like I would never catch up at first, but as time went into the combo, less time was spent on each lap... Cool! 👍

For the leaderboard: 👍

40.727
1'30.373
2'18.795

I'll be away today, visiting friends who are spending their holidays a couple of hours north from where I live. I will probably post the results later than usual, but nothing changes as far as the deadline is concerned : 14 hours from now.

Time submitted.

Buick Forward:

14.719
31.351
1'03.684

Mercedes Reverse:

26.129
58.822
1'14.861

Only approx one tenth improvement on the splits, but I sort of cleaned up my finishes and cut off half a second from my total time. :D

Trying all week to catch up with Smallhorses, but he was just too fast. Great racing, SH. 👍

Finally I would just like to add, that this concept of racing is really great. Long time since I have put so much time in a WRS race. Great to be able to switch car and direction, when you're closing in on the puke level. Let's have some more of them in the future Cyril. :D

See you next week. :)

:nervous: I'm notoriously bad at final sectors, and tend to throw away a lot of time there! :grumpy: Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if I'm behind you overall at the line! :ouch: Good job! 👍

This week has been real busy for me and I am only geting time now to race. Sorry to those that wished to see another "story", but I simply do not have the time.

Here are my forward splits in the grand national
T1: 0'14.775
T2: 0'31.786
T3: 1'03.900

will have my E190 times up soon

The 190 E is more engaging around this course. I wish this game had a E30 M3 To compare it to, but at least this car is in the game.

Here are my splits for the 190 E reverse
T1: 0'26.318
T2: 0'59.069
T3: 1'15.438

My total T3: is 2'19.338

There are some real fast times going around here. Nice racing!

Holl01 it is kind of nastalgic and warming to still see you in first after more than a year, but you are still too darn fast, slow down!! LOL LOL

Had't concentrate on JGTC last week, and will have to this week too! So will submit board times.

Gonna give wk70 a go, cos it's a nice combo, but don't know how much time I will be able to put into it.

Laters

Neil
