GT4 WRS Week 87: "Spooning in Italy"

I like the variety. Week 82 was as popular as this one (63hp cars on N3s)

Edit: Just following up on Errk's comment

Variety is good.

This week is sticky. Good for it.

Next week may only be middle sticky, good for it.

All sticks are good.

And now I'm FINALLY going to start racing. I have 7 hours until the deadline, and I don't HAVE to go to bed before then... Have the day off tomorrow. We'll see what I conjure up. Probably nothing too exciting, but I hope to at least make it somewhat D1 worthy.

HERE GOES!

Time submitted with these sector times:

25.882
58.101
1'18.915

Could've gained another two tenths easily by T3 and then maybe another 2 at the finish. But I just realized I had to make sure it was clean, and didn't push as hard.

Kyle: Good luck
Thanks, cause I suck!

Started with 250 gearing, then went to 220, then went back to 250, now at 210 for most of the last 45 minutes.

Oye. I don't even know what my fastest T3 is, but it's last in D1, I know that...

I might go back to 250 in a bit here, but I seriously hate the first two hairpins. I do the roof cam, and I have no idea when to brake or turn in.

Theres two dark spots on the track once you get close to where I'd assume you brake. I brake by the beginning of the second spot, being that it's rather large, I found that that point was the most accurate. Then again, if you know you're running a big slow, you can start braking when you're maybe 1/2way on it. Well, that's at leat what I do.

As for turn in, I guess when I get between 25-19 that's when I do it, or at leats thats the speed at which I'm turning. And then for the second one, well I wish I was consistant enough to give you some advice for that one!

Good luck!

That braking tip helps a LOT! Although I'm getting on them closer to the end of the dark patch...

My T1 still sucks monkey balls though, are you guys that're using 250 gearing using 1st gear at all there? Or is it just the way I'm going about the turn afterwards!? Argh. I think my best was a 26.5(with 220 or 210 gearing I think), and I'm much closer to 26.7-27 normally!?!?

250 gearing seems to be better for the first two turns (1st gear). I brake for the second one just before the curb on the left changes.
Concentrate on T3 - finish. I was able to find 1.5 seconds there compared to .3 at T1

P.S. Turn on your MSN

Ok, thanks to two awesome guys, I'm on pace.

Seen 25.989 now for T1, and down to 1'19.610 for T3. Just gotta put it all together in a fast lap.

First gear for the hairpins with this 250 gearing helps, just a tad... ;) ;)

Man, I must have done two hundred laps or so, but I'm just not feeling this one. Maybe I just need to get back in the swing of things.

T1: 26.304
T2: 58.852
T3: 1'19.801

That's how I was feeling too Kenny, at first anyway... Now I'm alright with it for some reason.

First submittable splits worth a darn:
26.063
58.400
1'19.779(yes, I know this sector sucked...)

Finish was ok. Fastest lap yet, anyway.

Time to go tie it all together then submit!

Didn't get anymore time since last time three days ago so here is my final time.

T1: 25.946
T2: 58.188
T3: 1'18.814

Time submitted :)

25.973
57.737
1.18.157

Easy 0.4 left but I don't have the time, the last time I played was on Sunday. Pitty, but I am not too worried. Welldone h0tb0i, your time is about 0.2 - 0.3 quicker than mine 👍

Time being submitted.

26.095
58.638
1'19.517

Seen 25.7xx for T1... And also a couple tenths faster in T2, but I'mma call it quits for this week. I need some sleep, my head hurts. I could find another 3-4 tenths in it if I had another couple of hours, but this is good. Submitting time!

Once again, thanks Barcelona and CRXnut!

Hello everybody. There's a long time I haven't posted in here (but I keep en eye on what's going on from time to time).
For now I just want to remind you that the time submissions have to be PMed to me (Flat-out) this week, and not to Colby.
To all those who didn't submit yet, or who are unsure to whom they submitted, you have about 1h45 to check before it's too late.

Results will be up within the next 12 hours, since the new schedule doesn't suit fit perfectly into my planning.

Submitting time now. Couldn't find enough time to fit another session in, so times are lacking this week (which is not unusual )

didnt get a chance to have another session, time submitted though, although its a slow time;)
