GT4 WRS Week 87: "Spooning in Italy"

I was going to wait until monday when I get my DFP to do this but I couldn't resist, I'm gonna start now :P

not a good combo to start with DFP :-)
I'm at least 2 seconds quicker with DS2

New splits

26.329 :yuck:
58.830 👍
1'19.611 :dopey:

Now just shave those 3 tenths I lost before T1 and I'll be happy

I worked on a time. But I haven't worked on it in a few days.
I've been busy making potholders.:banghead:
I'll have to look to see what div3 splits look like. So I have better idea of what to go for. Laters.

Sammy.

just broke the second barrier

0'25.843
0'57.646
1'18.068

0'25.765
0'57.630
1'18.062

.2 quicker at the line tho

Insane sector times posted by the top D1 racers...:scared:

WIll give this combo another session now

Sorry I meant 26...

New Splits:

26.084
57.902
18.468

0.6 left in me.

EDIT:

25.878
57.799
1.18.225

At least 0.3 to find. I hate this combo, it reminds me of the Six of the Best Championship (Hugo, Holl and H0t should know what I am talking about). We had to use this car for 6 weeks of racing and one of the challenges included this track all be it in the other direction but just as painful.

agreed, this car is very tedious and cumbersome to drive, havent tried yet again, boxing day sounds good;)

Ouch. *Gets a heart-attack* (This week really isn't good for my heart :P)

Righty-O, I think that's the leaderboard updated 👍

Thanks for doing that, I had two very busy days... A school-assignment and family-troubles, plus internet-problems. :grumpy:

And I'll get some new times out there today, I've driven the car occasionally during the week, just nothing clean and serious. Darren, you there?

My first clean lap splits:

T1: 0'27.044
T2: 1'01.059
T3: 1'23.068

EDIT: New times :sly:

T1: 0'26.672
T2: 1'00.830
T3: 1'22.700

EDIT2:

Wow, talk about close!

had a quick first and possibly only session using what i now realize after reading the thread is the wrong top speed of 220, .9/.047/1'18.500

****, .722 T1, thats fast hotboi, description mate? (steering settings, and steering degree angles for the tight opening 2 hairpins) i was spinning the wheel around full 900 degrees for both hairpins, hard to regain it though, and even harder to change the gear to second, many times i missed the padle shifter when spinning the wheel back round, and it just bounced in 1st. will try a session later using 250
that would make 2 of us missing the paddle for the upshift, need arms like arnie to muscle this around for a long session...

Darren, you there?

Yep, still here. Been sticking my head in every couple of days to see how far behind I've got. :D Not had ANY time to sit down with the PS2 since the beginning of the week so I've had no new times to post. Damn christmas preparations getting in the way of WRS'ing?:grumpy:

Firing up GT4 in a minute tho. 👍

Happy holidays everyone.

Darren.

Submitting my time - I've run out of time (and possibly talent) to improve further from the 1:19:801 I posted on Friday - oh well.

I'll have to skip this coming week's competition as we will be gone until the new year (going to Machu Picchu).

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Alright Kyle where u at so far?
Eh... Hiding from GTP the past few days, lol. Hadn't touched the PS2 until
today either. I've been whittling away at my JGTC qualifier that's due in a couple hours for the past three ish hours on and off, keep getting faster and faster... :)

I won't be able to give this race a go until late tomorrow night. It'll be a rush until the deadline, as I don't have to get up early the next morning. Who knows what I'll manage. :nervous:

Wow H0t604B0i (curtis) there ain't no way im gonna touch that and MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyoe on GTPlanet.net/wrs. Hope you all have a great day and good luck with this week   :D

Ok I tried this again, but I'm done so this will be the time I send in.

T2-58:772(-.413)
T3-1:19:597(-.404)have seen a 19:3xx:mischievous:
Total-.128:(

I was using 250 gearing, but I found that for me it just didn't work well
after T3. And as you can see I could have gone faster:).

Hi. I was working on my time and took off about 2 Secends.
I have a 1:21. Somethin at T3. I don't remember the numbers.
I'll try again and summet it tommorw. Laters.:D

I hope it doesn't go unnoticed, that if its a decently fast car with GRIP, more people will participate. Lets do better than RSH tires more often. I'll have some better times soon. I work retail right now, so I've been real busy.

My bro is getting my time right now. I'll post my T times when I get them.
Here's my T times.
T1- 27.250
T2- 1:00.310
T3- 1:21.725
Total-???
I'll be submiting my time tonight. So lets see if I'm even keeping up this week.:D Laters.

Sammy.:D

ehhhh not really

these GRIPPY tires just allow more forgiveness

harder tires require skill 💡

CRXnut
Wow, down to the wire with Angelcreator (again). Let's see who's got better T3 to finish.

Yes it will be fun to see:mischievous::).

This is true, although I like softer tire's more it is more fun to drive sport
tire's or a harder racing tire's.
