This looks like a DFP combo, can't imagine controlling all that wheelspin with the DS2.

It's tough alright, but I manage it pretty well. There are only two places you really need good control, though - the rest is easy peasy. Anyone thinks this car is too twitchy? It's as if it has an AYC with an Israeli parliament:

Party 1 (Left-wing): Look at that tree! Let's check it out!
*Car veers left quickly*
Driver/Front-wheels: Shut up and go a little right now, take a proper line!
*Car starts moving slowly to the right. Left-hander approaches*
Left-wing: Finally, go left!
*Car gets into oversteer, makes the entry*
Right-wing: Now, let's all go right!

^ And all in 2 seconds of driving.

Did a few more laps, and I can't seem to dublicate this time at all, the slightest mistake always kills my T2-Finish time....

T1 25.914
T2 1:00.059

No aids 230 gear

I'm convinced 230 gear is just too short.

T1 25.785
T2 59.779

300 gear

With 300 you can keep it to the floor in 3rd on the 270, and the car never breaks the tires loose, and I don't think I'm giving a whole lot up on the straight sections....but I'll surely try different top speed settings in the future.

LOVING this challenge. Nice to see we're doing some FF cars.

had a quick 20min run in this before i go back to bed to sleep in ;) judicious use of the right foot helps with this car, turn in is awesome, provided you aren't turning on the throttle, smoothness is definitely the key this week, i don't think i had full throttle from the first corner til just before the T1 split... hope to get a bit more out of this yet, was using 240 gearing

25.237
58.753

hehe how u ppl get these low splits on freekin medium spinning tires:) anyone that can tell if the car is 4wd, 3wd, 1wd, or 6 wd;)

Here are my update (and correct) splits:

T1: 0'25.924
T2: 1'01.823

I messed up on the loop... took it a little wide...:(

25.1 / 58.7 using NTSC version and tcs :P

The NTSC car at -10 weight is 4kg heavier than the PAL version nothing major I reckon ;)

Shame on me using tcs :embarrassed: :P

does everybody run with medium/medium? or any other setup? have tryed it all both with tcm and everything! man this week gona be hard:)

naw harder just makes it even worse when it comes to spin! i think actualy this race is better to drive with a wheel rather then the ds2! controling the steering angle and throttel more acurate. or am i wrong?

You could be right. I'm currently using the ds2 but will try the wheel later on if it proves to be better for this combo

First sector times

T1 - 25.950
T2 - 1'00.026

230 gearing
No TCS

25.686/59.533

Still seeking for the right personal gearing,240-300 and all between.

later,,,

first splits after a little sesion with 230 gearing and no tcs

25.169
58.552

cant work out t1 yet, i used 4th gear for long uphill left, helps u achieve fast exit speed.

ye i found out that cruising the whole track on higher gears like 3rd and 4 is quite good! less wheelspin and higher overall speed:)

It's a 6.5wd car :dopey:

Seriously, though, here's my splits for my best run.

T1: 26.397
T2: 1'01.771

Which is surprisingly slower than my 2nd best time, which had these splits :dunce:

T1: 26.400
T2: 1'01.490

0'26.310 (:( Worst one in a while. I'm now around the 25.8s, but I didn't get a good T2 and finish with them)
1'00.173 (Very good 270-degree'er)
And a reasonable finish
