The album came out in 1986 so maybe you weren't into Beastie Boys back then.:dopey:

lol I wasnt born until 2 years after that. I'm one of those 'young punks' you see.

I am currently playing the Korean version of GT4. The car in this version is called the Verna. Doesn't have the same ring to it. Oh well. By the way, I hate rally, so take that into consideration when I say, "This sucks!"

I haven't done Rallye enough in GT4, but I've done plenty in GT3 so hopefully I can pick it up again. I love the Hyundai Accent. It's a fast little monster.

T1: 0'17.9
T2: 0'44.6
T3: 1'16.3

Walls are going to be hard to avoid this week. :indiff:

Hello GTmaniac

Thats a nice track for Rally 👍

By the Way,
How do You like to drive the asphalt section with sideways rumble-strips or green grass ?
( Rally or asphalt-Corse rules )

:)

The high speed left hand corner right before the right hand turn that transitions back to gravel may not be cut. Keep at least two tires touching the rumble strip here!

i suppose the rest is just no wall hits.

Just a few laps. Very cautious while learning the course.

T1 0:19.254
T2 0:47.996
T3 1:23.780

Like CFM, I wanna be first for a bit. Please small fryz?

I'm not sure that I understand this clearly...you mean, with which rules do I drive that sector or which style?
P.S Didn't drove to much...will do later! :) 👍

Sweet T3 man 👍 I'm down to 1.16.7 so far still loads to gain :)

Welcome aboard Zoky and Werner ... this should be interesting :scared: just hope I can keep up with ya's

edit : T3 1.15.9 :)

I'm gonna head to bed soon and race tommorow.... er later today :dopey:, dont you guys go and get too far ahead!! i want to be able to keep up :sly:

Great track choice CFM! I haven't driven the Hyundai yet, but most rally cars are fun to drive.

I see a lot of people going away from their DFPs and at least considering the DS2 this week.

I have the older Logitech Force wheel, and I find myself doing much better on the rally tracks with it, but only until I learn the track, then I switch back to the DS2. The wheel gives me better feedback as I'm learning the dirt tracks. My DS2-drunk-rodeo-clown-dirt-driving technique is usually scrubbing away speed from a well developed oversteering habit on the dirt.

I'll actually get to run for a couple hours this week and look forward to posting another D3 whipping boy time.

Good driving to you all!

Hi GTmaniac

I to mean , the GTRP DB Rules to allow shortcuts on Rally Tracks.
But I`m favored to drive the asphalt-sektion with sideways green Grass or rumble strips, with the DB rules for Asphalt Tracks 👍
( 2 wheels on the street / rumble Strip )

Thats moore Fun :)

Nice to see You Mr P

I'll be running this one 👍 Not sure how I'll fair, but as an old gt3 dirt driver how can i not. This will however be my last weekly for a long while as I want to move on to other places for racing. I hope to put a bit more effort into this one seeing it's my last. 👍

I'm finding taking that first S bend with the bridge in the middle very challenging.
Here's my latest T times:
T1: 0'18.595
T2: 0'46.995
T3: 1'20.680

I think this weeks event is going to be a lot more enjoyable for me then last weeks!

Initial times:
t1: 18:831
t2: 46:162
t3: 1'20:546

Quick Question: Will any leinency be given to wall hits by chance? I know not everyone is a master at rallying, so I wanted to know if even subtle wall hits, where the rear part of the car swings around too far and hits something coming out of a turn, if that too ends that particular lap?

thx....👍

Yes I drive the same on asphalt sector! 👍
As for other parts of the track I drive by this rules:
Rallye tracks:
Rallye tracks are limited only by visible and invisible limits of the track.
Anything not touching these hard limits of the track is allowed.
An invisible limit is defined here as an obstacle with which the car can collide but which can not be seen.("invisible wall")

My first splits:

17.006
43.369
1'14.513

Have fun!

Damn the invisible walls are hard to avoid! First clean splits anyway:

0'18.771
0'46.817
1'20.522

It certainly does.

Im afraid that the rear of your car hitting a wall, contributes to more exit speed in more cases than not, so basically, as im sure ill be bolstered in saying, any touch of a wall is frowned upon, as is stated 3 times in the original post.

Good luck you crazy kids....

im off to try it now. :grumpy:

I'm a total idiot! I had El Capitan in mind and drove right into the barrier which was supposed to lead to the uphill tunnel. Then, I had to do a donut to find my way into the dusty trails... just stupid, very stupid.

I can tell that after this week, I'll be an expert at left-foot braking and throttle control. :ill:

Ah yes, that Accent rally car. I think I may do well this week, as I golded the S license test with this car ON THE FIRST TRY! [/brag]

Thats disgusting :yuck: .... you make me wanna leave already man :D

Too fast for me mate 👍 ... what are the final splits gonna look like :scared:

Its so hard to do a clean lap! Seems I have to take the corners far too slowly...

Hey can you put my Ts on the luxy leaderboard. I think CFM needs some company up there lol:
T1: 0'18.595
T2: 0'46.995
T3: 1'20.680

I see a lot of people going away from their DFPs and at least considering the DS2 this week.

i had to turn the vibrate off on my DS2 so i cant imagine how much more strenious using the DFP must be...??

if this is the case maybe some allowances should be made for drivers who are hitting invisible walls as they power out of corners?? 💡
