GT4 WRS Week 93: Let's Start With The A's

Excelent run down Mr P, and pretty much word for word what i'm doing. Guess your just doing it better.

only differences would be that i am only getting across the line at around 128 mph and i use sixth on the strait as well, otherwise it runs into the red zone. And i dont let it drift to the pit wall at the end of the lap, just at the begining.

Not giving up yet. I'll be happy if i get to a 43.5, dosnt mean i'll be able to do it though.

T1: 24.000 (yes i swear it was exactly that)
T2: 43.917

Botched the double left after the tunnel by getting the rear end out, which is why my T2 wasnt better, but the final time was better... by a few hundreths or so. But it broke me into the time range i took aim at in the begining of the week. I've switched to using the manual transmission now, instead of just holding gears with the R2 button. looking good. 👍

Just saw a 24.0 T1 with a 43.7 T2 but i blew it on the final corner.

I let the car take its own line crossing over the track to the pitt wall without twitching about on the final straight due to hugging the rumbles and I find the cross the startline speed is greater ... To each his own mate! great splits btw 👍

I just beat my best lap again but not by much here's my final splits as I'm done with this one ... 23.721 / 43.177

logically, the fastest way home is to take the route which is the shortest, the twitching and little adjustments that u would make to hug the inside does not affect ur speed what so ever, ur loosing a little bit of time by taking a wider, longer route but it would only be less than a bees dick

righto spent about 20 minutes on this and managed 23.8/43.3... i reckon another 0.3-0.4 is lurking in there somewhere... will put more time into it later...

Agreed about momentum. Everything past the tunnel, up to the hairpin, can be taken at 100% throttle without even looking at the brakes. Just a few places where you have to watch your turns

Glad to see some of you could understand my sloppy write up I did miss out one part! .. that entering the tunnel does not always have to be with a brake and occasionally the line is there for the taking at full speed with no stab whatsoever but 1 in 10 will be a realistic success rate for that move 👍

Yep, no sixth now. Thats why i love arcade combos, it's a totaly level playing field. If "he" can do it (or she ) then there's no reason i cant do it.

As in before T1?!?! If I remember correctly, YIKES!!!

Bigracer, Persian Pride is another member here at GTP if I remember correctly, so I've always assumed that was what it was about. Probably is. Although he doesn't poke his head in here very often.
