So whatcha guys running for suspension? I don't work this week so I SHOULD be able to take some time to play.
It's kind of depressing that I have to make myself play these days though, so I don't know how often I'll be competing. I haven't touched GT4 in a week, literally.

I copied the most popular settings from GT Vault exactly except Aids I had at 1,1,1. Seems to work fine for me 👍

It's good to take breaks from it. When I have to travel out of town, it gives me something to look forward to. I have 'forced' breaks. It word be hard to take the cockpit on the plane with me....

I got GT Legends this week and have been playing that with my dfp on my pc, haven't been around lately. I tried using my ds2 with GTL but the throttle is too sensitive and I keep spinning the car, lol. Looks like a good combo, have fun guys!

Can you post a link? For whatever reason I can't seem to open up GT Vault. Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing, which is possible.
Suspension setups seem to vary quite a bit. Maybe settings aren't going to make TOO much of a difference because of how hard it is to reach a limit with this anyway due to the nice grip of the R4s...?
Who knows. Driving this thing is definitely a blast though. 👍👍
I still have some work to do before I mess up the leaderboard's nice division setup right now.

Bump up the front bound setting a notch or two, raise the suspension and equalize it, and you have some decent settings for this week, I think. Maybe lessen the toe adjustments a tad.
My original setup has the spring rates a little closer to each other, but similar LSD settings and damper settings(aside from stiffer front bound). No toe tinkering aside from maybe -1 on the rear.
Anywho, I've logged 145miles on my Cobra this evening, between the Cobra series after purchasing the car and tinkering around Infineon. Will get some more time in tomorrow most likely, still want another 3-4 tenths off at least.
T1: 18.024
T2: 54.443
Running my version of the tranny trick that I always do(lengthens the first gear and brings the rest closer together). Specifically, for this week, I'm running: move the final to 3.875, move auto to 1, move final to 2.500. 👍
So, who's using second gear other than around the hairpin before the S/F run? I'm having mixed opinions on using it for a couple other sections, like after T1 and the double right before T2. And then I'm mixed on third then fourth or just fourth on the left sweeper that leads to that low speed double right before T2.

This event has really been staring me down all week. I don't know if it's because I have to make up a setting for the car or what but I've been completely unable to get started on it. I'm really going to have to grind it out tonight and hope for the best. I'll upload the replay from this run and last week tonight to make sure I don't get another DQ for last week. Take it easy.

Such a frustrating combo!! Been trying all week on this and I just about give in!
Seen T1 of 17.9 (screwed it up coz I looked) saved lap T1 is 18.3
Dunno what my T2 is I'm far too busy concentrating to look up at it, and can't be bothered going into replay theatre just to check it.

This was really a frustrating combo for sure 
seen 17.5 / 53.6 as my best splits but always stuffed it at the end
and when I get crap splits I get a good end section ... its sods law 
My best save has 17.8 / 53.914 a crappy hairpin before T2 and a great ending to the lap ... it wont win thats for sure! .. but just glad I had a go in this crazy combo 👍 Thank god its over

Been at it a while now. 200 miles in and I'm only just now starting to see what I'd like. I don't think I could do what the top D1 guys are doing with super softs, nevermind these sorry R4's. My suspension is OK but I'm just running a stock 12 gearbox. So far my splits are:

This SHOULD have been a breakout week for me, but I let GT4 go for too long, and I'm too blitzed (a pair of birthday parties attended today) to put together a better overall lap. Very frustrating because I've seen 18.4 and 54.9 too.
