well if i'm informed correctly then you'll only be set back €19.99 so you can save €10 for some flowers for your girlfriend or mother or both 👍

That's more reasonable. I'll keep the €10 just in my own pocket then :sly:

@GPKart: I already posted my settings here

Improved so much my ears are smoking...

1'09.016
2'04.983

With the crappiest finish the world's ever seen. Perhaps not the worst - but I lost 0.5 compared to my ghost on that sector (1.1 ahead on T2, 0.6 ahead on the finish).

I'm so Smart, I'm so smart. S-M-R-T... I remember Brad made an Avatar with this?

What a stingy bastard...

Ok thanks for sharing it, didn't figure that you would get your settings done before doing your last attempt and you keep it for all day long. I hardly do more than 10 laps with the same settings to try different things and I suppose you would do the same, but I was probably wrong 👍

Well, turns out I won't have the time to run this tonight... Gotta help a friend get his car back on the road again after way too long. Time submitting in a second.

Edit: Nevermind! He says come over this weekend. So hopefully I will get a little more extreme with my settings that don't make real life sense and dip into the mid 2'04s.

Funny you're saying that... Your attempt with extreme settings on Week 85 is what made me try them this week, with my currently very-pleasing results.

EDIT: Laying down the contorller for tonight. Chopping off 2 seconds was one heck of a challenge.

And Steven: You'll get a win this week, with only two runners, and one of them without a MaxDrive.

EDIT: We should have a super-close finish in Div2 this week. Just look at T1 and T2 :P

That does look pretty tight. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be faster though as I just can't seem to relax enough to brake for the last chicane properly.

My big problem is the 130R - I can never figure out how much to brake there.

Leaderboard Updated

EDIT: Just got a T1 of 1'08.658, and screwed up up on the Spoons (loosing about 0.2) - which still resulted in a 2'04.7 - and then it got totally screwed up on the 130R. If I had another day, I'd drive that 2'04.6 which I can see coming...

Alright fellas. I improved by about 0.5 so far, but with a slightly worse T2. Lost a lot in the hairpin. Though, I've already managed to cut 0.3 on T1, only to mess up the Spoons about 5 times...

I was hoping to seal the deal with my new splits, but it looks like four others are with me as well!

Don't remember them exact, but my T2 is a 2'04.7

So far about 100 miles in tonight. I'm hopelessly hooked on this sorry little car and wringing a few more 10ths out of this run.

1'08.471
2'04.353

What sucks is that I tensed up a bit at the chicane and lost some time. This was still my best time but it was more on par with laptimes I got with 2'04.7 t2's. Judging from everybody's splits, it looks like Division 2 is the place to be this week.

Good luck to all the last minute racers 👍

:banghead:

Every time I go to work on my driving, y'all just get better and better! 🤬 you all! :sly: :D

At any rate, I did manage to make the goal that I set for myself... Won't win, I'm sure, but it was fun! :)

T1: 1'09.780
T2: 2'06.217

Time Submitted.

Out of time this week. Hopefully that Triangle foul-up doesn't knock me to dead-last of Div 2.

Time submitted

Got my final time now. I finally managed to pull the 3rd sector near best potential. There is probably more there but I'm tired. I'm pretty sure nobody ran this more than I did and while it is a bit upsetting to know guys probably ran over a second faster than me running 100 miles to my near 500, I am happy with the results 👍

1'08.306
2'04.352

And I was hoping my about-to-come last-minute effort would bring me a gold...

But then again, Div2 seems to be "split", with almost a second between the two groups.

Edit: Nevermind! He says come over this weekend. So hopefully I will get a little more extreme with my settings that don't make real life sense and dip into the mid 2'04s.
In theory. Current splits' time being submitted. :indiff:

Final splits:
1:08.762
2:05.398

Did this with GPKart's setup 👍 which was 1.5 seconds faster than what I had come up with

Alright, I'm happy. Cut off another 0.2 off my T2, and 0.2 off my final time. Would've improved, but math-lessons are short. If they were double-hours, I could've aimed higher for a gold...

Happy with my time, though I could've found another 0.2 in the final sector.

1'08.881
2'04.801

Time submitted. I had one of the most beautiful moves through the Spoon I've ever had. And I have to say, I'm very pleased to be in that bunch of 2'04s this week... (Not to mention I've beaten my arch-rival, MINICOOPER, by at least a second)

Mostly I keep on adjusting my setup, but this one completely fitted my driving. That's why I didn't change anything anymore. And since it enables you to create some oversteer too with agressive driving I'd expected it to suit more drivers.

And Metar, at the moment I don't have as much money as a few years ago, so every penny is welcome :nervous:
