I have installed the update and then I checked the Dealerships. No new Acura in the Dealership if anyone wishes to know. I guess we will know more when the online is back.

I see the 91 NSX but I don't see the RM edition in Dealership in my game.

I definitely do see that they need to fix the GT Auto bug as well,

and....

I really hope I see the standard cars with reverse lights soon.

Oh and I'd like to see rear wipers work as well.

The wind noise is louder on the roof cam.. God I hate it, I honestly have no clue why they keep making it even louder..

I'd like to make a correction to my last post, the wind noise is still the same, 2.04 didn't change it. My bad.

I just saw this message posted by PD:

Regarding an Issue Found in Online Races

Feb 07, 2012

A problem has been found in the 2.04 update released on February 7, where players sometimes do not receive experience and rewards after an online race in the open lobby or the lounge.

We are currently investigating the issue and are working to correct the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding.

I was going to add this to the list, we alos had this problem last night while racing 11 clio cup cars.
Also had MASSIVE lag issues. We was running headsets but oddly it seemed all drivers with FAST internet connections seemed to have really had lag:scared:

There are never RM versions in any dealer. You have played GT5 right?

Yes, i thought i saw another car in the Acura dealer. Or I must have looked at another dealer. anyway like i said. i still have the acura dealer in my game.

The F10 drove fine, I was lapping around .4 slower than my 1:10.1xx around monaco but overall, it's still very driveable. I just want the insane understeer gone already though...

If I'm not mistaken the 787b is now producing engine sound from the left surround speaker.
It's not a 50/50 distribution but it seems to me that it's a bit more than before (which I believe was practicly zero).

Can anyone else confirm this?

i did the update like any other time and my install data got corrupted... had to do every update over again.. this happen to anyone else?

Mine gas always been 50/50 in the rear, i have asked many people about how there system is wired up and they never answer me... I have a 5.1 and i have a digital audio out cable running straight from the PS3 to my stereo receiver... A friend of mine has his wired up with the same cable but it gos to his tv first then he has another cable going to the stereo, he gas that problem with the audio... Please tell me how yours is wired up. I want to see if it is just me and the way i have it wired up.

Just for reference I have an HDMI cable direct from PS3 to 7.1 receiver and I never had that problem.

I do get the ''no tire sound'' bug though once in a while.

Ok yeah i guess like me and you have are PS3s wired straight to the receiver... So Mabey that does fix that problem like you said i have never had that. But yes the night tire sound bug, yeah i get that too once in a while too but that has to be some bug in that update when they made it so the racing slicks don't make tire sounds. And it messes up and comfort tires don't make a sound but the racing tires do. Hopefully they fixed that in the 4.04

some people said the lightning changed a bit,i dunno but it seems that the physics and lightning been changed in all updates

Yep. I noticed on the 07 Ford Mustang premium car that left reverse light is more brighter than the right. I didn't see it like that before. And I noticed on the VW Golf VI R '10 had only one reverse light working while the reverse light effect on the ground has both working. Mini Cooper Countryman has one reverse light on the right and only shows the effect of that side.

I dunno if anyone had used a Golf VI before this update.

I've noticed many vehicles exhaust being left or right biased depending where the exit in the car is.

I get it when using Surround Sound and the Tritton Pro's.

I'm running 5.1

Setting on Game 5.1 Small Theatre

If that isn't working you must have some dynamic sound setting on at the receiver. Try setting it to Dolby Digital and nothing else. If you got all that and still have the problem. I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but my sound ain't one. ;)

I used definetly changed

To the posts stating that the dynamic chase is gone... its not... I rolled my car (on purpose) on Trial Mountain (easy track to roll on that final hill/corner) and the camera rolled too.

The dynamic is still there and I personally like chase again. Its usable for those that loved the original chase and it still does have a bit of dynamic movement but it isnt as drastic so I dont get sick playing in that view anymore.

Again, the dynamic aspect IS still there, but its toned down A LOT! 👍

Finally we can delete the DLC cars. I have wanted to replace a few already but refused to buy another one because I didnt want to waste the garage space.

This was an unexpected, pleasant surprise to start the game up with today :D

Awesome, I didn't even think about doing this yet. I'm going to try when I get home!

Nice jay-z quote but, i am not having the problem i was saying with the 787B most of the engine sound is in the rear like it should be... But mine is even... Not to one side you know

Quote "awsome"!

WTF! What's so awsome about them fixing bugs that should never have been there in the first place? 12 months down the line and a team of 100 people at PD are still finding bugs? Sorry but I don't get it!

The fact is this! If people weren't daft enough to buy the DLC then kazanouri and his team if monkeys would be spending more time actually fixing the game rather than making you pay for 10 new NISSANS and a while bunch of pointless sh#t!

Has anyone who plays GT5 ever thought to himself (or herself) "ohh I wish I had a Toyota prius in my garage"????

No! Exactly!

Every time they add new features, such as DLC (cars and tracks), new tire wear, new pit changes, new wheels for standards, cockpit for standards, new features for online, more dynamic weather changes (and other things people have been asking for), you tend to run into more problems.

If PD would have decided to leave the game with the same features as it when it came out, then all these bugs would have been fixed by now.

While it may be possible "all these bugs", whatever that means, would be fixed, they may not be. These additions to the game Improve more than they screw up. Most of the things you mention are not likely causing problems.

Tire wear changes and tweaks to the physics are likely to cause some issues in that area and changes to net code likely compound some of the connectivity issues. However, new content and wheel changes are unlikely to cause much of anything. You assume a lot.

Also, it is a massive misconception that new content (cars and tracks) derail bugfixes. Codemonkeys do not model cars or engineer sound. And a normal monkey can apply new models to templates to inject into games. Code writers can fix bugs while others create new content.

I use HDMI between the PS3 and my Yamaha RX-A1010 7.1 receiver.
The receiver automaticly chooses Straight decoding mode.
I have a 5.1 speaker configuration and the setting in the GT5 audio meny has been adjusted accordingly. I use both small and large theater setting but mostly large.

Many cars (certainly all my favs including the 787B) do this since the 2.03 update. At first I thought I'd blown a speaker - but press rear view and the sound switches sides... Now when I make vids for youtube (audio directly from the PS3 through a Hauppauge and into PC), I have to apologize for the sound so people know which earbud to listen with (let's say they're watching on the sly at work ;), so they can hear the engine/exhaust and not just a blast of wind and transmission noise. I take it this hasn't been fixed or adjusted in v2.04?

FGT: Until now this had been up there with the Audi R10 as perhaps the most undriveable non-bugged car in the game, as unlike the F2007 and F10 it'd seemed to have no downforce-type feel at all. Good news in 2.04 is that there's some there now. It's not quite as strong as the F10's but the car is a lot more communicative than before. I'd feel confident taking on the FGT series in A Spec with this new model. Tested with a 5-lapper at Monza.

Anyone have an evaluation of the FGT on the Nurb in 2.04 compared to 2.03? Feels like the FGT lost some downforce feel somewhere between 2.0 and 2.02, not just the nerfed tires but the front end bounces more in some places as well, so maybe 2.04 just put it back to how it was? I'd test it myself but the next point makes me apprehensive...

The wind noise is louder on the roof cam.. God I hate it, I honestly have no clue why they keep making it even louder..

Thanks for reporting this - roof/hood cam wind and transmission noise already get way too loud in 2.03, so it is even louder in 2.04?

I like the sensation of speed but the engine/exhaust note should prevail (I've been to races, those engines are L O U D). Deafening wind noise as the game portrays may or may not be "realistic" for exterior cameras, but isn't it kinda pointless for the game's purposes if you can't stand to race with it? Does anyone here actually like the wind and transmission noise at 200mph and above?
