Yeah man, I would rather see news on how they are doing with Damage, day and night cycles over release date, we all know its either late 09 or early 2010. So no complains.

PD don't let us wait in the dark, do not disappoint the fans.

Like yourself im not bothered about the release date being announced but I can think of more important aspects of GT5 rather than damage, day and night cycles. I would like to hear about the online features of GT5 because IMO these are far more important aspects of the game than damage!

I'll just tell people as I did in another thread gametrailers are screening the sony and other companies press conferences live and in HD from their website.

I'll imagine GTrailers would probably do it as seperate games to watch elsewhere on their site, but if someone has the technology to capture any presentations they stream of GT for the gtplanet crew that would be awsome!

Will still don't know what content they even plan on showing at E3, maybe it will just be box art.

its passed one year from prologue, and for you in one year they didn't make nothing........

yes, you are right maybe... KY walk around the world for gt academy all this time...:sly:

It's gonna be huge with fireworks, awesome cars doing donuts, and a parachute team with the GT banner on the fabric. After that, a squadron of jets will fly over exibiting amazing aerobatic feats, including donuts.

Then they will anounce the release date and allow people to play a demo, featuring damage and weather affects. More jets too.

Then, when the main event is over, they start giving everyone free 40 inch sony TV's, PSP's and a packet of half eaten biscuits.

Perhaps it's the hype, but i'm pretty sure this is what's going to happen 👍

Perhaps God will be there too!

It'd be silly for them to not show any great progress made past prologue, they need to start building the hype train so I'd say the press release will be substantial/and or with new features.

It is good to see someone on here with a sense of humor.

How would you guys cope if GT5 was unveiled with NO visual media of any sorts but ONLY SOUND, showing off the advancements PD made with the engines and exhausts notes.

Just wondering....

:grumpy: It would be... maddening

And if they are gong to show damage, they might demo a huge crash, but nothing to amazing in a trailer. That is if there is a demo, let alone a trailer... GT5p update 👍

I wouldn't care, I'm not expecting changes in graphics for GT5 anyway.....

Surprised to say the least. I don't know about you guys, but exhaust notes aren't what makes a game for me.

Looks like Need For Speed have introduced the GT5P like cockpit interior view for shift. Will be good to weigh up Forza with GT5 in the coming days, might have to buy myself an XBox if GT5 doesn't show! That said I'm expecting news, all the big gaming sites are expecting it to be shown...

I wouldn't mind it....I'm a sound nut when it comes to engines and what not, but I think the sounds in GT have improved a lot since GT4...and there is room for improvement, but even if they did show advancements in engine sounds, no one would know if it's real or fake because PD's trailers often have sound that is much different than it is in game....so I'd probably rather see something else....unless they said somewhere in the trailer (graphics and sound are all gameplay) or something of that sort.

This will never happen, but looking back on amars post, where he mensions two verisions of GT5, imagine if one turned out to be an update for prologue that costs, and the other a more expensive new GT5 (with box set). Anyway I know its off topic and extremely unlikely but it was just an idea.

there will be the same like always...
- a video mounted.....
- chairs with a tv on the table...
- they show the menu of gt5
- the press will interview the PD staff

end... everybody could sleep safe...

I can't believe that with less than a week til E3 this is all we have. PD has a hydrogen-tight seal on their goods.

That would be awesome if they show the GT5 Menu :embarrassed:

I don´t think that we get more than GT5P on the Nordschleife and a "Its done when it´s done"

After all this waiting, that'd be pretty lame. How about a complete track and car list and a solid release date? Oh, and screenies, lots of 'em! ;)

The four things that I'd like to see at E3
1. Official release date (2009 hopefully)
2. Complete car list (600 cars and maybe more)
3. Complete track list (more than 50 tracks)
4. No more GT5P updates (only slight changes in online events) and GT5 all the way.
With this a perhaps a trailer but I would rather see only those four things that I've mention above than only a trailer.

im on the same boat at the people above me.

Track and Car list.
Possible release date
Lots of pics
Video.

To be honest, i dont need anymore updates for GT5P, unless its a track or a 1-3 car add on.

Chris 👍

I think what Sony show will be determined on what Microsoft show of Forza 3 the day before.

Sony won't want to show something that they think is "revolutionary" or a "unique" "feature" if a similar feature is unveiled in Forza.

Sony are probably waiting to see what cars/track/features etc are going to feature in Forza 3 before making a truly final decision on what to show and what to say.

You might be right on that one 👍
