note 1. its off no use if you wont ever buy anything from shopto again or it gets released by 1st of January in which case you can just cancel your pre order once release date is announced.

note 2. it also says price can go up in which case just cancel pre order again.

note 3. I now have gt5 on pre order and getting all excited again

you do realise that's the cover for GT HD which came out like 2 years ago. the release date combined with the picture leaves me wondering. there is also a gt4 mobile on amazon uk.

Sorry to be on a downer, it looks like a scam to me.

No it's not a scam, just an oversight by the orginal poster of this thread. What shopto actually do is give you £3.00 credit if you don't recieve your order by it's release date. Currently this is showing as the 1st of January, but that's just a place holder, until they know the exact release date and also when they get the boxart expect that to be changed aswell. If anyone thinks they will get £3.00 if GT5 is not released by the 1st of January they are wrong, as that won't be the release date and when the official date is announced it will be corrected. Also EERS4YEARS, shopto don't take the money until they are about to send the game, therefore they aren't getting an interest free loan.

I too have bought a LOT of things off shopto, ( actually my parents have for me ). I have never had any problems either. I didn't know that you could buy friends from them though, I might have to try that.

£29.99 or £39.99, makes no difference to me. I've waited long enough for this landmark game. All I'm bothered about is getting the game as soon as it launches and will probably (for the second time ever) go to my local 24hr ASDA on the Thursday and get it at midnight. My guess at their price is £34.97.
