I just got a message from one of my PSN friend saying that he will report to Sony all of the names who have hybrids from the threads on GTP and others he encountered when racing online ... he seems to be pissed, said about his room ruined several times a day, restarting races, kicking people gets old etc, even ask me if I have one 
He also said that he PM'd Kaz's FB as well with list of names, GTP thread links, hybrid car details list , youtube vids link ... this guy is mad.

I think this new found pleasure might actually extend the life of Gt5. And if PD reads along on GTP, they should listen to the majority and allow it. Maybe add an extra option to the online race lobby to allow or disallow modded cars.
I am the living proof of this. I haven't thought about playing GT5 in about a year, maybe even more. But this is really exciting and fun, and could just pull me back into racing.

^ Some people do have shorter fuse than usual, I don't know if what he said in the message will be done or not, you never know what someone could do, but his words are kind of funny/weird

Thats exactly what I want out of this Hybriding also! The idea of a 1JZ AE86 or a RWD V6 Civic to drift would be the icing on the cake! For once I think PD should take a leaf out of Forza and allow more customisation to the cars like vinyls and get rid of the paint chips (such a draag!)

If you thought about it, iRacing is a game strictly played ONLINE. A handful of GT5 hybrid users use them OFFLINE for credits, attaining Level 40, and so on.
And what about games like rFactor and GTR2. I'm pretty sure each game has a huge modding community.

As much as I'm enjoying "collecting" hybrids, they are getting more realistic and could start causing issues in online races. Maybe. PDs energy should be used on creating proper filters or whatever you call them to keep them from getting online, if room host so chooses.
SPEC racing is where it's at, for me anyway. All the cars are 100% equal and tuning prohibited.

Fully on board with that statement. watching the US version of top gear tonight there was a scion xb that was made into a rear wheel drive drift car with the motor out of a supra why cant we do that kind of stuff?

On topic, I asked my friend [name redacted] to take a look at his save file, and he knows his stuff around a computer. Hopefully he found something tonight and can share the exploit with me, and I can hopefully generate some more hybrids and relese them here. Again, this is all in an ideal scenerio, but this is how it is supposded to work out. Don't count on it. I will maybe post a tutorial on how to do it, maybe linked in a really creative fashion, so that more people can know. Again, don't count on it.
