Ok... online cant be any more broken now, 6mil hp cars are popping up here and there. A BRZ, an X2011 etc. These are DLC cars so people can't borrow them, they also have -90,000PP... oh, and all i'm gonna say is NGU...

Even more of a reason to stay away from random rooms.

Racing leagues or personal rooms FTW. :indiff:

I'd not cry to hard, it's not the end of the world I promise.

Lets see gt6 and none of this will have any meaning :D

Lets make this clear, if you want wheels from other cars on another car, it freezes the game. McGavin told us this.

Dude your missing the point. I haven't seen one person here cry, and it has nothing to do with the end of the world(fool) You're dreaming about GT6 has nothing to do with this, except for the fact that PD would never let this happen with a new game I would hope.

Please don't use name calling and other abusive language.:)

These people crying about hybrids is freaking hilarious.

A game where I would complain about hackers is GTA IV. Those people are quite annoying with god-mode (infinite health) cars that repeatedly run you over and you can't fight them.

I've seen so far 1 hybrid and that was Fiat 500 with 7000bhp & really weird suspension & wheels.

Got to drive one on share. It's a Fiat 500 with a Red Bull X1 engine and chassis. Unfortunately, it doesn't turn like an X1 does :(

I released a tutorial on how to do this on NGU but they won't let me post it on here... (Well I don't think they will seeing as it still is waiting for moderators to accept it)

Tutorials are not allowed on this forum. If you want to keep your account active, I wouldn't post it.

Well, now I have a 600hp (1600 with a turbo) Fiat 500 - definite track beast.

Now onto the 2014 Corvette.

As long as game saves can be backed up, people will decrypt them 👍

Dan, you are a piece of work......Why would you complain about hacking on a game like GTA IV, and then not about GT5 where fairness and competition are so much more important to game play? Obviously you don't at all understand what the real issues are or could be in relation to hacking and GT5, or you are guilty of involvement in the problem and you don't want your bubble burst. I would guess that its the later.
Its really a common sense issue. And who is crying about Hybrids(hacked cars)? Myself and others are only taking issue with problems Hacking(cheating) GT5 have or WILL cause.

PD patch is on the way....you can bet on it. this will be resolved soon. have your fun

This game is designed to be a SIM. It does that very well. You want 'fairness' in an online lobby? Host one. And kick those who don't abide by your rules. It's no different than the mass amounts of kids who get their first X1 and wanna race in every lobby. They get booted if they're not wanted, simple as that. It's amazing how many more X1's I see entering rooms than the hacked cars.
I'd like to see a link or resource info on your intel about PD's patch. I'm curious to see what their actions are going to be towards the actual hackers (if they can source them?) and if they're planning on being as strict towards those that only got the cars gifted to them, which I may add is out of the receiving party's hands.

Can anyone find more sections in SEN Terms of Use that may apply to hybrid cars? This is all I can find:

-You may not modify or attempt to modify the online client, disc, save file, server, client-server communication, or other parts of any game title, or content.

-You may not cause disruption to or modify or damage any account, system, hardware, software, or network connected to or provided by SEN for any reason, including for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage in a game.

-You may not attempt to hack or reverse engineer any code or equipment in connection with SEN.

Yeah this stuff is clearly in violation of all that. Whether they crack down on it is yet to be seen. I don't see any banning or locking of accounts coming, but a patch from PD to keep them from being traded or used online is certainly a possibility.

I'm just trying to get information on this issue and gain a better understanding. Definitely not saying someone should be banned ( I love my hybrid collection), but it's interesting that people interpret what they want from the SEN Terms of Use. The way I read it, a great percentage of people on gtplanet have broken it at some point.

However, I would definitely like to see a patch that allows better control of online lobbies and reestablishes the integrity of the (online) game. I haven't raced open lobby in weeks but guessing hybrids are starting to sneak into regular PP limited races.

It said that if you modify them. It doesn't say anything about having them. So as long you don't make hem and change it you are fine. I still don't think they will ban anyone or do anything like that. Because look at how many people now have these cars. Like 1/2 of the people that get online.

I don't know. Does having them mean you have in effect modified your game and gained an advantage? Maybe.

So, we're allowed to post what we have, and post and PM to people who want to trade, but we can't post how to do anything, or PM on how to do anything?

Its really frustrating, you'd think just one thread where all the info could be allowed, then ban it everywhere else, because I've figured it out but can't any anything...

Why does it need to be available here? There are millions of other websites out there.

We're not going to actively promote - and give all the needed info on exactly how to - violate Sony's rules here. But we accept that the cars are now out there; pretending they don't exist would be futile at this point. Herding all talk of trading (and let's be honest, a whole lot of begging) to one consolidated thread keeps that particular portion of the topic contained. The threads that have to deal with hybrids' impact on GT5 are left to discuss that without the junk 👍

Just curious but does that hacking allow people to fix missing/add features to the cars besides the obvious power upgrades?

For example, have the Shelby Series 1 taillights to turn on when the sun sets like the other cars instead of them just turning on when braking. Or fix that missing single taillight on the newer Subaru Legacy sedans.

I would also like to know if its possible to add the flashing lights effect of the premium GT cars to other premium cars.

It would be nice to have a FR-S/BRZ/86GT with strobes on the front parking lights and rear indicator and backup lights, with the ability to turn them on/off.

Just wondering.

With all due respect, imo, the research on how to alter different variables, belongs here, in this, a non official fan forum, especially one devoted too all knowledge on the GT series.

While encouraging violation of their policies may look bad, I don't think we're directly doing so, nor actually doing anything wrong even if we were, not to mention are not held accountable, due to being unofficial.

So I suppose I believe we should, although there isn't need of the community at all, since we freely discuss every other topic here, including the borrow glitch, duplicating, ect, it's something new and of great interest to the community, therefore this is the ideal community for it's discussion.

So if I may prevail upon you to, at least consider, lifting your discussion ban, even if it's limited to just one formal thread, I think we'd all be very grateful.

Found the colour location and posted it in the NGU thread for those interested.
