You know what's actually selfish? Your ill-conceived interpretation of what Slip actually said. I'll spare you none of the kindness or tolerance; your solution is simple: if you don't like it, you're more than free to leave if you're of the opinion that something that canand hasbenefit the community is selfish.
Also, ask yourself the following questions: Short of actually detailing the method step-by-step, if discussion of the topic weren't allowed would this thread still be here? Would this thread have been actively renamed encouraging the trading of these vehicles?

who's jordan? why have we all got to talk properly? if you send a text message v'i'a your mobile/cell phone would you write that message in plan engline or would you use slang talk? for example, you=u, before=b4, we dont need to talk properly to satisfy (daan) or this jordan guy.

I too have been exposed to these cars in online lobbies and its just plain idiotic, I have driven a version of the X2010 and why it has 100.000BHP+ is beyond me? Why? firstly I went wow I cannot drive this with a G27 then I went wow why do I need to try this? then why has someone created it? If you want to amuse yourself try finding yourself a partner, of either gender, ( not being homophobic here) and doesn't have to be at sexual level, go out, have some beers, catch a movie, or what ever people are restricted to in your age group, fill that time with meaningful life experiences, instead of sitting at home on your computer all day trying to beat the system,
If all you wish to amount to is beating the system, hack your countries tax office, give yourself a big load of super or become a lawyer and beat the judicial system, being all high and mighty because you beat a computer game TOS is such a big deal,
as for those who are doing the right thing, and taking it to a logical place then good luck with it,

I don't know what to think aout this hackig thing... I guess it's ok, but up to a certain point. People are abusing it. Litterally. 50.000HP+? Really?
I have built myself some 2JZ's, RB26's and VR38's with realistic power and Racing: Super-Soft tyres. It's alot of fun once you get the hang of it. I'm still looking for the ride height, camber, engine (to do swaps) and exhaust sound values.
Other than that, I frankly don't care about anything else. Such a shame people abuse it. I've been online quite alot today, and almost every single room had atleast 1 or 2 over-hacked hybrids... It spoils it!

You're still not getting it. When you are talking about yourself, "I" should always be capitalised. Sentences also start with a capital. There is no apostrophe in "i'am" (sic) or in guys.
Go and read the AUP (again, as you have already read it as you agreed to it,) and try to understand it. If you are posting without understanding it, then you shouldn't be posting.

There's a difference.

Everyone who is against it are saying it's against the TOS. I am sure if you look at the TOS for the older GT games, in it will be a proclamation that modification of any of the game code would be illegal. Every console and PC game/software has this in it. So we can discuss how to do it in the older games, but the latest release is off grounds? Just saying.

Previous GT games were bound by no such limitiation. And even if they were it affected no one.
Thus your argument is essentially "because it's going to happen anyway why not embrace it?"
Once again, GTPlanet has a relationship with both Sony and Polyphony Digital and we're not going to risk that relationship going to wayside simply because a couple of people can't be bothered to use alternative methods to discover "how-to's".
We'll gladly acknowledge their existence and will even tolerate the trading of these vehicles, but we're not going to tolerate the discussion of tutorials to any degree. End of story.

I mean i still find it funny how a lot of people say "it is not against the terms of service" when it is just as against the terms of service as much as jail breaking is. Good decision on GTP's part to not allow the discussion on how-to do it.

It's an image thing, and I know I say this as one of the people who used Google to find the answers I wanted (reasonably difficult), but I think we have to let this one go.
If Sony/PD "in their infinite wisdom", interpret even 1 thread as 'hacking', they'll write off GTPlanet, and their contributions benefit the community more than this 1 hacking trick, for this 1 game. The Owner's and Mod's logic is not at fault here.
