I am the owner now so I will be ready to add people who give their emails! PM me if you dont want to post them on the thread

So finally we can't edit the board just loggin in with our gmail?
Anyway I have sent you a PM with my gmail acount...

I'm intended to start the projected cleanup tomorrow. As I asked to it and hadn't a reply, I'm re-questioning now.

Step 1: hide/delete unused tabs
Step 2: use the same format for all tabs.

I say leave all the tabs there, its easy enough to flick through them with the little tab thing on the right.... now that I know how to use it!

Every tab should be in the same format, except for those that have Time and Weather.

Just my 2 cents

I don't understand exaclty what you want to do... Can you give me an example of a row before and after cleanup?
Maybe I can help you...

Unused tabs: my 2 cents are for deleting (or better hiding, if possible). I find annoying going through tabs, or selecting from a large list. That tabs are still empty after months....

Same format tabs: I usually hotlap and update 10 tracks at time, for one to three cars at time. I was able to copy and paste car specs before in the very first days.... or is someone so nice to write specs 30 times for me? :embarrassed:
And yes, would mean also an empty column for wet conditions in every tab.

Also would be useful an imperial/metric power/torque/speed calculator ;)

Hi everyone, I added my lap time some days ago by just typing it in, but it seems, it you can't do it so easy anymore. What do I have to do in order to add my time? I have two more times to add: Top gear Standing Start: Ferrari Enzo 1.12.371 and Ferrari F430 1.15.475. Everything was stock on both cars, I just changed the tyres to sport soft. I have also a video of my Enzo lap time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gch6G7KtYHw
Tell me if there is something wrong with my standing start, although I think everything should be fine 👍

We have had to make changes to the editing process. Now to edit, you must be logged in to a google account. This helps us monitor who has edit what and keeps away trolls. Feel free to send me a PM with your email address so I can approve you for the board!

New Times Added

Autumn Ring Mini
BMW 2002 Turbo '73: 0:47.997 (Comfort Soft)

Autumn Ring
Jaguar E-TYPE Coupe '61: 1:36.276 (Sports Hard)

Deep Forest Raceway
Jaguar E-TYPE Coupe '61: 1:34.393 (Sports Hard)

New cars added:

EUNOS Roadster ('89) - underpowered: hope the 1800 pushes more
HYUNDAI Tiburon Turbulence ('99)
BMW 120d ('04) - very nice: happy countersteering due huge torque
MINI Cooper S ('07) - power band too flat and too few torque on high revs. Shift at 5600 rpm.
PEUGEOT 206 RC ('03) - lots of understeer under throttle. Very fast 2 liter hatchback. Currently first in the board
TOYOTA 2000GT ('67) - why all these classics have so little grip? A supercar with tiny tires. A bit like modern Elises. Oversteer is very progressive and easy to control. Amazing long 3rd gear, then 4th and 5th are like gun shots. Very fast car in very fast circuits. What surprised me was 2nd place (current) in Indy speedway, just after the Ibiza and ahead of the 206RC.

These are 6 cars x 10 tracks = 60 new lap times for the board 👍

Board editing:
thanks to HotRodKing for the empty tabs cleanup
I fixed a 1px row in a tab and Nordschleife header (was shifted by 1 column due to weather conditions ;) )
The hidden column trick did the job! Now all of us are able to copy/paste between tabs without having care of weather conditions. I didn't edited all tabs, as I was connected for less than 2 hours and ..... I'm little bored...

To do: add hidden columns in other tracks, formatting cleanup (centering, column width)

I hope you are all able to edit the board now.

Great! But what exactly did you do to the W/D/N section?

Nothing where it was. I also added it in missing tracks (LM2009 if I'm not wrong), or moved to correct position (Tsukuba and Suzuka) just after time.

In other tracks of my interest, I added a column in the same position, then hid it.

Added a few times...

PD: Suzuki Escudo in Autumn Ring (in RH tyres) is a fun hunt! I will try to beat my 1:10.xxx... Love this car.

Added Corvette C1 to my 10 test tracks.

This car is SLOW. I like the Blue Flame straight 6 rumble, but Powerglide automatic gear is horrible: top gear is so short and engine has very few torque on high revs. After 4000rpm (130-140kmh) it gives you very little until the 167kmh (104mph) rev limited top speed.
Wheel torque is so low you can't warm up rear tires in most circuits.

Don't too bad for driving, but you must engage 75kmh corners in top gear, which produce a massive understeer. Overall grip is not that bad, and with engine at right revs you only have a reasonable oversteer.

In GT4, like the Elan S1, this car had too much grip. I prefer it with new parameters. It's a fifties car, after all.

Fixed just a few little issues with the board. Haven't been able to get much GT time the past few weeks with school and all. Ive posted around trying to get new posters to the board so hopefully that will work out. Planning to run some times in the ring soon. :gtpflag:

So my PS3 broke the other day. :( I think it is a bad power supply and I will be testing it soon.

Anyway, I would like you remind everyone to post a new reply every time you add a few times to the board. This makes it easier to see who has added what to the board and when. It also bumps up the post so more people can see it. 👍

Cant wait to get my PS3 fixed so I can get back to racing!

Primarly :D
I'm very busy with my job. Had hotlapped the Ginetta G4 but need some time to fill the sheet with data. Will be later this week. Also did my first WRS competition and can add it as well ;)

EDIT: Good luck with the psu!!

Added the Ginetta G4 on ten tracks.

I expected it was faster. Sure it is compared with its 91CV engine. It can actually lap just a bit faster or slower than the 1600 Mazda MX-5. With only 454kg you can believe me: its rear is very light :D and imho the best way to drive it is being very clean.
Still looking for an historical car able to compete with actual cars.

I've sent my Email in via the share. I'd be happy to whack some of my laptimes up and fill this thing up :)

Just wondering though, if you set a time with a car/track combo that someone else has already set. should you delete their one and replace it with yours? or just have 2 on the same track sheet?

Send it to me, mate

EDIT: you aren't allowed to delete other laptimes, by common sense, so there will be more than one for each car/track combo. You can overwrite your one if you improve, of course.

any word on getting accepted to edit this page at all? =|

Yes, sending me a PM with your email as Catlin did..... I'm sorry if it's beyond any privacy concern....

EDIT: I'm not the owner of the sheet, but if you read the thread.....

Sorry for not being completely on top of things here with letting you guys in right away, I've been busy. So busy in fact that I STILL haven't gotten to fixing my PS3, and now with the new updates and DLC, I'm really starting to want to get it fixed soon.

Thanks for all the contributions so far!

Well, in last 2 months it's been hard finding some time to hotlap, but already have 3 to add for my Alfa :D

EDIT: added Alfa 156 in my 10 favourite tracks. No Spa yet :P
