These numbers, how did you arrive at 345 points for the Ibiza ect?
I'm imagining you rank them out of different things like, top speed, acceleration, bhp, torque and whatnot then give them a score relative to their performance.
Or do you score them based on their laptimes at your 10 different tracks?
EDIT: After going through your posts again, I understand it a little better. You dont have to give away your secret formula if you dont want to, I just thought I'd ask how you rate your cars as it seems to come to a very specific number.
It's no a secret, just a loooooooooooooot of math
Now you have understood that there are two formula I can explain it better.
The evaluation formula (based on IRL car stats) is very tough to write here, as it has annidated formula inside. I evaluated 900+ cars with this method, and used PP for many race cars:
for example, for car n° 181 is:
=(((LOG(I181)*300*((SE(H181="FR";tab.$C$40)+SE(H181="FF";tab.$C$39)+SE(H181="MR";tab.$C$41)+SE(H181="RR";tab.$C$42)+SE(H181="4x";tab.$C$43))*((((((AN181+(AP181+AO181)/20)/AM181)*tab.$C$35)+((AP181+AO181)/2)^2/tab.$C$36)+((K181/I181)-tab.$C$37)/tab.$C$38)+tab.$C$44))+1412/(((O181+80)/(I181*1,078))+LOG(T181+tab.$C$33)))/4,37735)+100,02)*(CERCA.VERT(AQ181;tab.$B$229:$D$237;3;0))
Basic car parameters are:
H is powertrain
I is power in metric HP
K is torque in Nm
O is car weigth (in kg)
AM is car heigth in cm (m^-2)
AN is car track in cm
AP is front tire size (width, in cm)
AO is rear tire size (width, in cm)
AQ is tire (comfort medium for almost all cars)
tab.$C$33....44 are tables with constants
tab.$B$229:$D$237 is the tire grip level table (values are 1 for N2 tires, 1.139 for R1 tires, with in between proportional values: don't modeled R2 and R3 yet, but I have to do for some cars)
ODF format words are:
SE is italian for IF
CERCA.VERT can be find.vert in english
Example: the In Real Life Ibiza is evaluated with 307.58 points (CM tires), which is lower than 401PP calculated by PD (SS or RH/RM/RS tires)
