Just went on the board and it does seem to have been cleared.👎

:ouch:REALLY WHO THE BLOODY HELL DOES THAT! GET A LIFE:ouch:... end rant.

Hopefully one of the creaters has a recent backup, they did last time.:scared:

EDIT: On second look it looks like only the first few tracks have been deleted... incidentally Autumn Ring the first track has, which I had about 300+ times on, and I ain't going to re-enter all that data:grumpy:

I believe hotrod can track the changes & go back step by step until he finds where it was deleted. We might lose a couple newer times though. 👎

Seriously, who the 🤬 do they think they are. The useless 🤬 must think they're pretty cool deleting peoples work just because they can't run a good lap. Go die you 🤬 heads. Pardon my language, but it's people like these that are the reason i couldn't go online all holidays 👎

Hi all, added three lap times to the Nurburgring Nordschleife two of which I had done some time ago but one which I had just completed. I added them to the database but included below for completeness and ease of transfer.

Mine's BNR34 Skyline GT-R N1 Base '06* 7:03:359 (Turbo Stage 3, everything else stock, suspension ride height -10 front/rear only) Aids ABS:1 only, Sports Soft tyres.

Plymouth Superbird '70 - 7:28.458 - Tuned, see spreadsheet. Racing Softs.

Jaguar E-Type Coupe '61 - 8:39:538 - Stock. Sports Hards.

Having looked, I think the Superbird time is pretty good I put in a barn stormer of a lap at this time while I think the Mine's is pretty decent (I see one with maximum downforce was quicker but I was running stock settings apart from turbo and -10 ride height).

I like this spreadsheet database, I'll contribute some more when I get the time.

I'm sorry but your lap with the BNR34 Skyline isn't that good...
I did a 06'56.631 with a completely stock BNR34, took it right from the dealer to the track, no setting adjustments.

DOC RESTORED!

only a few times have been lost probably. If you posted in the last day or two, check to make sure your time is there. If not, just upload it again.

I really don't understand why anyone would do this. I mean, I save a copy of this on my computer every week, and I can alway restore previous versions of the doc at any time. It really only takes me 5 mins. I am pretty sure anyone can restore the version as well. Even if it got totally f'ed up, i could just upload one from a week or two ago.

So to all you trolls, don't even bother with this. Go troll people on Youtube or Need For Speed World, but NOT GTPlanet.

Thank you

Well maybe not good by your or others standards but good by my one lap with a track error just after the carousel. I didn't claim it was the best time ever just looking at what other cars were around it I was just surprised. I'm sure if I did a second lap or a few I could have got the time right down but it was late so I just left it.

No hard feeelings dude ;)
I was only surprised because you did it with a turbo stage 3 applied.
I know what it's like to drive a time trial lap when it's a little late 👍

I know that some cars tend to be slower with the stage 3 turbo because they are harder to drive. A great example for many is the Toyota 7 race car. It is hard to drive as it is but with 1000+ HP, its almost impossible to set a much better lap time.

New Times Added

Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trial Car '98: 1:04.993 on wet

Just for kicks and giggles I tried something different. :)

Sorry for the double post.

Ford GT '05 (standard model)

Autumn Ring - 1:23.550
Monza NC - 1:46. 074
La Sarthe 2009 T&W - 4:21.734
Nordeschleife T&W - 7:37.796

It is actually quite a stable car, the gears are VERY long, making it hard to spin the tyres as long as your not ham-fisted with it:idea:.
Mid corner throttle can steer it around quite nicely too. The numbers and PP suggest that this car should be slower than it is:sly:.

EDIT: added some more

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09

La Sarthe 2009 T&W - 4:07.207
Nordeschleife T&W - 7:28.287

Everybody writes off the Veyron as an overweight pig that cant steer, well the times it punches out beg to differ:idea:. It is always poking its blunt nose up the top of my tracks leaderboards, whether it be a long topspeed track like La Sarthe or a tight twisty track like Autumn Ring...
I have written a review on it if your interested in reading, check out the link in my sig for 'Panorama Magazine', it is the very first review:).

EDIT: again some more

Corvette ZR-1 (C6) '09 (with rear wing +15)

Autumn Ring - 1:24.729
Monza NC - 1:46.302
La Sarthe 2009 T&W - 4:20.155
Nordeschleife T&W - 8:47.863 WET

The ZR-1 on the Ring in the wet is very difficult. Could only use half throttle for most of the track with short shifting right up into 6th gear. Even with shifting at 4000 rpm you have to be careful in the corners, some it will just back itself into the Armco with next to no warning!

Sorry, should we enter times here or straight onto the spreadsheet? I just did the latter actually.

Post on the spreadsheet, then post here.
The only reason I started asking for people to post their updates on the thread is to more easily track exactly which tracks and cars are being added and how often they are being added. It also helps bump up the post so more people know about it.

Just added some times to Nordschleife:

Audi R8 '01: 5:25.408 - first lap. I can probably get another ~1.5 seconds
Nissan R92CP: 5:24.574
And updated my Minolta lap: 5:22.931

908 HDi coming soon.

Just a heads up, I made a slight change to the Nordeschleife and Le Mans 2009 sheets. Added the Time/Weather column beside the times so that it is easy to see if a time was set in the dry or wet and what time of day.

I have been doing a few laps there lately and sometimes it rains on my trackday!:)

@HotRodKing - if you dont like it you can always change it back.

Today took an old favourite out on the road

Shelby Cobra 427 '66

Autumn Ring - 1:30.214

Monza NC - 1:55.809 (surprising the cars it beat!)

Le Sarthe 2009 T&W - 5:26.290 WET (bulk wheelspin and a limited topspeed)

Nordeschleife T&W - 9:35.646 WET (had one spin and suffered the same problems as at Le Sarthe, have to watch the compression lock up in the wet too!:nervous:).

No problem. Added Suzuki Escudo to Top Gear Test Track. 0:58.949 on Racing Softs.

looks good. maybe it will encourage people to try some laps wet. I was thinking maybe we could change it to a more simple (W) by the times like top gear does. for this board we could have it to say (W) for wet, (D) for damp, and (N) for night. Then there would be a set standard and the sheet could be sorted by W/D/N if someone wanted to see it like that.

Changed the Weather/Time to a Wet/Damp/Night tab and have made the text appear to the left so that the W/D/N shows up right next to the time.
I have also coloured mine for easy recognition.

The way I classify it is -
Raining=Wet
Wet track, no Rain=Damp
Night is pretty self explanatory:idea:

New addition

Toyota SUPERAUTOBACS Apex MR-S '00

Autumn Ring - 1:18.423
Monza NC - 1:48.485
Le Mans 2009 T&W - 4:26.424
'Ring T&W - 8.18.204W

and some photos:)

This car is very very precise, low BHP + low weight and downforce make it so. Even in the wet at the ring it made you confident enough to push hard (although I did have 1 spin).

Just added one from Le Mans 2005
BMW Concept 1 Series tii '07 - 4:46.980
all stock
May do a bit better with more laps.

Thanks to everyone who contributed! I do ask that you please make sure you add your PSN to the home sheet if you haven't already. I've realized that many times people forget about that. Just a reminder. :)

Nice time, but please do add the performance figures to your time especially since the car is modified.

TVR T350C '03

Autumn Ring - 1:29.062

Monza NC - 1:57.848

'Ring T&W - 8:18.657 Damp

At first I thought this car was rubbish, especially at Autumn Ring. It just didnt seems to have a nice feel to it - undertyred and not much torque, although it still managed to crack the 2 minute barrier at Monza.

Then I took it to the Nordeschleife (on a damp track) and it just came alive in my hands, it just felt oh so right. The only thing letting it down is the 5 speed box.

Just added 908 HDi time to Nordschleife: 5.30.628

2 big sideways moments in it, rest of the lap was quick though. I think I can get a mid 29 if I can keep it clean.

New Times Added

Top Gear Test Track (RS)
Volkswagen New Beetle Cup Car '00: 1:18.750 (Racing Hard)

Added times on my test tracks for:

VW Newbeetle 2.0
Opel/Vauxhall Tigra
VW Golf GTI mkI

Can you consider to delete unused tabs?

Seems as if something is wrong with the Autumn Ring times.
It looks like some of the rows are hidden (or deleted:mad:) and I can't seem to unhide them.

HotRodKing can you have a look at it?

I pressed the triangle-T icon on the far right in the toolbar and fixed it. Not sure what it is set to do but its all good. Duck, I will be doing some clean up and maintenance to the board soon so when I do that I will delete some tracks.

RUF CTR2 '96

AWD and 508hp with a RR layout make this an interesting beast to drive! The easiest way I found was to drive it like a 500hp FF:crazy:
It loves to spin up the front wheels on corner exit which gives massive power understeer.
An interesting fact, the only time I felt the pendulum effect of the RR layout was in the wet at the ring, otherwise the rear end is very planted.
