Added Cappuccino time to Tsukuba. My Torque isnt displayed in ftlb (and i cant seem to find anyway to change it.the measurement settings in options only change between miles & KM)do you want me to add it anyway?

Finally saved up enough to buy the FGT from the OCD, got the Blue one... thank you remote B-spec!

So out I went to my two test tracks, Autumn Ring and Monza NC.

AR: 0:57.670.
Monza NC: 1:14.572

Both done in under 5 laps. I had the brakes set to 5-7 first off and it had the rear brake locking fairly bad, tried to dial it out with some toe and camber changes with no luck, dropped the rear brake down to 3 which helped quite a bit. Ar time set with full downforce, Monza NC downforce to around 50-75% gears out to 400km/h.
No tuning parts added, Racing Hard tyres.

that reminds me, thanks for doing all those B-spec races the past few weeks!
my PS3 was broken and when I fixed it and logged back in, I had about 2 million credits! worked out nicely. Ill be running a bunch of b-spec races soon so hopefully I'll repay you! 👍

No worries mate, I use the widget to run them automatically. You can find it in the B-spec forums, helps out a lot for cash.

Wow, this thread has dropped back a few pages.

NSX-R LM Road car just popped up in my UCD, pretty good buy for around $450,000.

Autumn Ring - 1:24.306.... faster than McLaren F1
Monza NC- 1:45.691... faster than Lambo SV and ZR-1!

Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98

Autumn Ring - 1:12.364... 1 full second off the Minolta.
Monza NC - 1:28.618... more than 5 seconds off the Minolta.

BMW LMR Race Car '99

Autumn Ring - 1.11.147... Just in front of the Minolta, this car is very nervous and is easily spun.

Got a GT-R (GT Acedemy Version) ticket from a friend today and also the X2010 for hitting Lvl 35.

Nissan GT-R Spec V (GT Acedemy Version) '09

Autumn Ring - 1:15.051 (1:23.052 on Sports Hard)
Monza NC - 1:35.162

Gran Turismo Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel

Autumn Ring - 0:43.047
Monza NC - 1:00.397 you could easily drop below 1 minute with more laps.

IDEA!

So I am seriously considering making the lap time board multiple google docs rather than just one. How this would work is that there would only be two pages on the original doc: Home page with rules and driver, and a page with each track name. In each track name would be a hyperlink to a different google doc dedicated to that track.

The reason I think this could be better is because sometimes the tracks on the bottom get moved out of order by accident and its hard to see which tracks have been updated recently. I can look at all of the track's docs on my google account and manage them there. The only drawback I could think of is if it opens a new window every time you click the link.

Please respond to how you think this will be and whether or not i should change it.

I'm a fan HotRodKing.
Thats how I have my Excel docs setup at home. It also gives you the ability to break up each tracks doc into tabs for 'stock', 'tuned' and 'overall'.

I can't connect to the google doc, since a week or so. Not at home, not at job. Can you suggest a technical reason?

I really don't know. I would just try to reset or something.

I haven't been having any problems. I will look into this though and see if I can find anything

I added some times for the XANAVI NISMO Z '06 on Autumn Ring Mini and Suzuka, from my testing in the tuner challenge.

edit: And RAYBRIG NSX '06 times on Suzuka and Tsukuba.

The only thing I have thought about that I wouldn't be able to do is search for cars or drivers in the Doc. Often I press Command+F and can type something in like cars or drivers to search all the sheets for me to find them.

Do any of you know of a way to search between different Docs quickly like that? That is the only thing that has held me back from changing it.

Not sure how you would be able to search across multiple docs. Maybe google knows... google knows everything!

Anyway,
added the XJ220 LM Race Car to my times.
Autumn Ring: 1:13.772
Monza (NC): 1:34.757

Times done with no tweaking besides the brake balance set to 5-3, the car is VERY stable and invites you to push faster through the corners, it was really fun in just the 4 laps on each track. Only a 5 speed transmission though.

and the Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trial Car '98
Autumn Ring: 1:14.193
Monza (NC): 1:29.052

The Suzuki is quite hard to tame on tarmac as hit has MASSIVE lag and doesn't really start to work until after the 7000rpm mark, and then it just spins the wheels up. Might not be so bad for dirt but here on these tracks (particularly the windy Autumn Ring) it is hard to lay down a good laptime.

I'm now able to connect to sheet. There is an unresolved old issue by Google that crash the sheet on the client side. If it happens, you have to clear cache and cookies and change view, then return to the sheet view. Google says it has been resolved, but the bug is there....

Added times on my fav. tracks for:
-Citroen C3
-Honda Element
-Volvo 240: GT5 specs are completely wrong, and after correction the car is far slower than you can think, even with weight reduction stage III!!!!
-Nissan March 12SR

Mind if I add some times?
So far I have a stock Fireblade
@Trial Mtn with 1.40.667
@Deep Forest: 1.28.506
@Grand Valley Speedway: 2.14.261
@Autumn Ring: 1.29.800
@Cape Ring: 3:06.968 (no one else has done Cape Ring?)

More to come.

Stock RUF "Yellow Bird", BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car & Dodge Viper SRT '03 along with a fully modified SLR McLaren '09 added to top gear standing & rolling start

The fully modded SLR was astonishing. So fast & agile, that it jumped straight to 2nd on the standing start board. Only beaten out by a 787B!
The F1 GTR was a beautiful drive. Very agilw & great acceleration. Was pretty hard to get off the line for the standing start though...
The Dodge felt heavy and slow. It didn't have a rebuild or chassis strengthen & was exactly how i got it from the UCD
The RUF felt very powerful & quick but was far to tail happy to set a good time

I just added one to Nurburgring Nordschleif:

Toyota Minolta Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89*
Racing Soft
05:23.022
Stage 3 turbo, oil change.
ABS: 1, TC3, SRF
Logitech Driving Force GT

Its nice to see some new names on the thread and lap board! 👍

I have started a draft basically of what it would be like if I changed the format of the lap time board. Next to the home "GT5" tab, there is now a "Track List" tab. The only one up so far is Autumn Ring. Next to the name is a link to all of the Autumn Ring tracks. I simply have copied the existing tabs in the main sheet and put them into a whole new spreadsheet doc. The separate doc is set so no one can edit for now just so people dont get confused.

Check out the format and if users like it better, I will change all of the tracks to this format. As I mentioned earlier, the only disadvantage I can see is that we can't search for cars or drivers within all of the pages.

Please let me know via thread post or PM. Constructive comments are always welcome! :)

haha and yes, please feel free to add as many times as you want!

Have added London in Lotus Elise RM and linked to the replay video I uploaded to Your tube. The lap time I recorded was the last lap I recorded (lap 7)

BTW it was done in online race on my own does this count?

I would say that that is ok.

I have heard that the online physics are different as compared to the offline physics. Is this true? Do they really make a difference in lap time? If anyone can back me up with any info saying that the time should be invalid, then it will be, but for now, go ahead and post it. It would be good if you could note it was done online in the notes column.

This is great. I was just wondering if anyone has real world lap times to virtual car lap times? I know that tsukuba had a best lap time of 51.875 in a NSX supergt vehicle, which is comparable to lap times scored on the datasheet.

If you would like to include lap times of cars in real life, go ahead, but please make sure that exact car is in GT5 and give the full GT5 name of the car. Find a credible source to get the real life spec (HP, Weight, ect.) and post that link in the notes section.

If you feel the need to do this, I just ask that you keep it to a minimum. After all, it is the "GT5" lap board, not a real life one. Just add a couple to add a nice challenge to your driving skills when racing.

Added Peugeot 106 Rallye on 10 tracks.

@HotrodKing: I think you forgot to add your GT by Citroen time @ Daytona oval :)
