My laps are done all with the grip set to REAL, it makes a difference especially in the border of the rack, where you can really feel the difference between the two models.

There must be something wrong with the spreadsheet. I can't see anything! Empty rows and cells all over

Edit: Can see it now

Good to see its back, well done Andy!

Adding a few to my times. C 63 AMG and the Mac F1.

Dont really have time to explain, just go to SSR7 online and see for yourself, cant believe gt planet of all places hasnt picked up on this yet.

I smell major BS here, and what I've highlighted and underlined is precisely why. If it were factual, you would have no problem taking the few seconds it would take to tell us how this can be done.

Theres a glitch with the gtr, you can go though the wall on SSR7 and drive under the track where the start line is, then, drive round in a circle crossing the start line and do 4 second laps, japanese players useally set up races online with 200 laps and finish the race in like 25 mins. I was in one with 10 people and I came 4th n got over a million credits, if you dont believe me then join a japanese lobby with a gtr and see for yourself.

EDIT: If your going to use this glitch id do it now because most of the japanese players know about it and alot of EU players including me now know too, wont be long til PD finds out...

So it's similar to the glitch at the Top Gear track where someone can knock you outside the invisible barrier then you can drive around outside the track. Fun once or twice, but I don't make a habit of it. Doubt I'll do the one at SSR7 either. To each their own I guess.

what GT-R? just a standard new one? Will the Spec-V work? does this work offline as well?

A standard gtr, spec v, and i think the black mask one all work, like I said go on a japanese lobby and copy how thier do it, the glitch works at the first hairpin on that track. Like I said I cat believe noone at gtplanet has posted about this, I was one of the first people to use this glitch and a day since then its blew up online.

s15specr is right :)
Tried it out and it works, you can go through the wall at the hairpin, after that you fall down under the track. Best lap was a 00.04.055 :sly:
GTP_lilday was there to running circkels
3rd place gave me 514.550 xp and 1.2million Cr.

Good to see the board's back up.

Is it possible to add Nurburgring GP/D. Unlike the GP/F, the shorter 3.7km is often used by german car magazines: Autobild Sportscars, AutoZeitung to test production cars.

Added.

Updates: My lexus LFA info after checking in my game.
Top gear test track times SS & RS (LFA)
Suzuka east lap time :) (LFA)

Thanks for your hard effort to make the list better :)

I've contributed my time to Rome circuit :)

I just hope I converted kgfm to torque correctly XP

Uploaded a few data from the afternoon I spent comparing similarly powered FR and MR. All using Comfort Medium (hell yeah). It would've been frustrating in GT5P but now I not only do I feel the balance of the car but can easily catch it (my G25 is set at the max).

Just did some laps in the Enzo.
Does anybody else think that this car was a little short changed by PD?
To me it feels like its running on skinny tyres. No mid corner grip and easily breaks traction right up in the revs even in 3rd (Sports Hard tyres). Almost as if it needs to be running softer compound tyres just to be comparable to say the McLaren F1.
The Enzo carries more weight than the F1, but than it has more HP, yet the F1 has quite a bit higher PP.
Mid corner speed is way down on this one, almost as if the suspension isnt sorted.

On Autumn Ring I easily beat it with the F1 and even the Veyron (AWD I admit but it is a twisty circuit where weight should play a big part) and then on Monza NC both those cars leave it for dust.

hmmm, thoughts anyone?

Test it with TCS. If it works, you're pushing your right foot to much. If not you need a diferent setup...

I don't ever use TCS, and its stock so no tuning for me either.
I modulate the throttle (DFP), it just feels as if this car is under-tyred.
Maybe I need to use a grippier compound to make it more realistic, however it still doesn't change the fact that other cars in the same bracket don't better utilise their tyres (in the game).

it could be an unrealistic tire compound. I have often wondered how the standard "Hard, Medium, Soft" compounds reflect the real stock tire compound used on the car. Im assuming the game gives you Sports Hard with the Enzo as well as Sports Hard with the F1. In real life however the Enzo may have stickier tires as compared to the F1 and compensates for its extra weight.

Im not 100% sure this is the case, but seems like it may be. If anyone knows if i am right, please prove me right or wrong so we know!

The tires you get with the McLaren F1 (Sport Hard) is a bit too optimistic if you're after is replicating its actual performance. Calan_svc did a skid pad test to try and match tires to the car's real life result. For the F1 (which tested 0.86g IRL), the right tire in GT5 would be Comfort Medium (CM). For the Ferrari Enzo (RL test 1.05g according to Calan_svc although I've always thought it's 1.01g), Sport Medium would be more apropos. (here's the list: http://alturl.com/sswx7)

Personally, I prefer Sport Hard on the Enzo although for the F1, Comfort Soft feels about right. Another thing to consider is that the F1 doesn't come with ABS in real life. Because I turned the ABS off, the brake setting is 3:1. With CM it's a real challenge to brake into turns but more manageable with CS.

On a different note- I've uploaded a few more data onto Nurburgring GP/D. M3, C63, R8 and the two american and the two british challengers. It's good to see that the PP works quite well.

I have uploaded all my hot laps, if you like slow cars. Will update soon as new will come.

By the way, is time sorting to be made manually?

Yes, I sorted your lap times on all the track =) Anyway if you want to sort the list by yourself, select the E column (the one with the lap times) and click on the little arrow near the E, and select "sort sheet by A--> Z ;)

Added my lap times on TGTT with supercars and sport soft tires, I'll add specs of the cars later 👍

OK, I'm doing it myself now. Thank you for the info.

Good work posting slow cars! Its nice to see some contrast rather than a bunch of supercars on the board!

Just finished a "ferrari challenge" on Nurburgring GP/D, results added to the Lap Board =) Tomorrow I'll upload some replays on my youtube channel =)

I wish i could be setting laptimes right now, but my PS3 is broken and wont read disks. :grumpy:

anyone know a quick way to get the system to read the disks again?
