That's what I've thought, too. Not sure though.

It appears there's a red part behind the driver seat, if it's of some help.
EDIT: could be the driver's helmet, though.

It doesn't look like a 2010 Mustang GT-R to me. Also wheels are different from those of the standard 2010 GT model.

If you look closely enough you can see the orange indicator in between the two lights, and all the other details are perfect. And the wheels don't always have to match.. The windows are perfect, the light's are perfect, hell, the spoiler's perfect.. It's your opinion, and this is mine, so cool :)

I am pretty confisent that we will get most, if not all of these cars in GT5. the fact that there are so many cars from previous GTs and confirmed ones from GT5, just makes it hard to believe that these cars were randomly chosen. Also, like other people have mentioned, there are no Porsches. One car that worries me though is the Aston Martin DBR9. It can not be in GT5 because we saw the scan from the Apex book and we saw all of the Aston Martins. The DBR9 was not one of them. Time will tell I guess.

I noticed that the DBR9 was missing on that page too.

Hm, it may, just may be possible that the DB-9 becomes the DBR-9 with a racing modification...

I would say that when I look closely at that image I see a body coloured moulding at the side of the grille, which suggests it's a 2005-2009 model. The 2010 model has a black moulding around the grille. Those wheels also tie in with one of the earlier GT models.

Thank you, kind sir! I'm certain my tentative 250TR suggestion was wrong. I know I have a photo of that car somewhere, I just have to remember where.

I don't know why everyone is being so anal about these toy cars in the ad. The company behind the commercial probably has no connection with PD, and just grabbed a whole bunch of cars from a toy shop....

Wanted to update everyone on the subway frenzy game..... I received this email today after asking them if I would get GT5 early, it reads....

You will receive the product a few days before it comes out in stores.

Thanks,

So lucky! :D be prepared to be flooded with questions when you announce that you have the game on GTP, we want answers, do not fail us ;)

Which means the game will be out of Sony's hands quite a bit early, maybe as much as a week. There should be a few leaks :)

You could be right ( I did notice it after you mentioned it ) although you have to agree it's hard to pinpoint exactly from that photo whether it's an inaccurate scale model or indeed a completely different car which it could very well be.

True, but the lines look more British to me, but I just can't pinpoint which car I am thinking. Austin Healey keeps coming to mind, but then the more I look, the more I don't think it is a Healey. It is European though, and looks to be late 50's to early to mid 60's. I looked at all the Historic Ferrari's, and none that have that shape has the fender arc like that one. I will be checking out here periodically until someone names it though. My head is hurting trying to find it.

except there are a couple cars that don't make any since if that's true. Like the Citroen GT toy car.

Almost seems like they made that 'We love cars' ad just for GTPlanet (and others like it, if there is any?), like they would have anticipated the reaction it will get here. Members examining the ad frame by frame and indentifying hundreds of toy cars, and by that this forum shows exactly what that ad is all about...

You live in Orlando? i live in Fort Lauderdale, I might come and play it with you

Maserati 3500?

This seems more likely, and very familiar to those who've played GT4.

It still could be a 250 TR version, the photo isn't clear enough to make out the exact model apart from it being a front-engined Ferrari racecar from the fifties or early sixties.
This one, a 1957 335 S, also looks a lot like it.

Well the 166 MM Barchetta perhaps did look a bit British because this style influenced those later British cars like the AC Ace ( which later was turned into the Ac Cobra ).
Still think it could be it though.
