Silver car, right to the BMW 320si. Looks like Mercedes S-class (W221).

You're right about the Mercedes , but i say its the C63 AMG... since we have seen already pics from the C63...

To be honest, as much as i adore Mercedes, the S class shouldnt be in the game :)

Might be wrong but the red convertible looks like it could be a 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta.

The front wheel arc is not the same on the toy, and also the door on the toy comes down more than the Ferrari in that pic.

The third car looks like an old Nissan 350Z, but a bit different.

It's a 300zx and has been in all the GT games so far, so yes it is most likely in.

No, it's the P3/4 they revealed in Gamescom.

No, it isn't as that model is clearly front-engined ( note the bulge in the bonnet ).

You could be right ( I did notice it after you mentioned it ) although you have to agree it's hard to pinpoint exactly from that photo whether it's an inaccurate scale model or indeed a completely different car which it could very well be.

Just played the demo @ Gamestop and it doesn't seem like you could control the camera inside or outside the car....bummer.

With that being said, I absolutely hate the driving position....nobody drives that close to the steering wheel unless you are an 80 year old woman.

Also, I wasn't floored by the graphics. Everything we've seen online so far looks incredible, almost next gen. Well the reality of it is PS3 is ancient hardware and when something is too good to be true, it usually is. I'm sure photomode and replay use a different render setting, but the actual in-game graphics were average at best. As far as the modeling goes, everything seemed spot on, but the lack of AA and horrid shadows (like seriously....HORRID) really took this game a couple notches back. During replay, the shadows on the cars looked so bad I had to skip it...they were blocky and just didn't flow at all.

As far as interior views go, NFS:Shift has this game beat in terms of texture work and viewing angle....so if you've played Shift you won't be that floored by GT5's interior. Everything seems relatively flat or untextured. The camera is fixed so can't even look around...which I don't get.

But really, the main thing I didn't like was the sense of speed. Now I know GT was never known for this but c'mon...this is 2010. 90MPH in a car is VERY fast...130MPH is blistering fast....and 160 is downright scary. There is no reason 35mph should feel EXACTLY like 90MPH. Honestly, I had to look down at my speedo just to see how fast I was going because after 40mph, everything felt the same. From the video's i've seen on this game, it looked like they fixed this issue but after playing it I was extremely disappointed. Say what you want about NFS:Shift, but that game actually gets your blood pumping during a heated race, and thats how a racing game should be. Cars are f'n scary to drive at high speeds...Arcade or sim, 160mph should scare you ****less.

However, the physics were great and the cars handling were pretty accurate.

I understand what you mean 5 litres, but in nfs after 150kmh the screen would blur. ???? Cut your own slice, the lastest videos ive seen of e.g Enzo, braking at high speeds and the environment shows this.

Exactly. We don't know if they will be...

I'm not the optimistic type but I've spotted many cars that were in previous GTs and some that are already confirmed for GT5. Plus, none of us have spotted any Porsches and I spotted 3 red F1 cars. The only F1 we know to be in GT5 is the Ferrari F2007 F1 which is red. Also, the game we're playing is fun and many of us are enjoying it.

Guys, what's up with figuring out what all the toy cars are? Do you really think they'll all be in GT5? :dunce:

It's fun for the guys to work them out, I'm enjoying reading it and there's no harm in it, I doubt many people will shed any tears if they aren't all in the games.

Also...we love cars :D

I don't want an arcade-ish blur, but there has to be something to do. I actually liked how NFS: Shift approached getting a sense of speed (body movements in the cockpit, front end lift, bluring of cockpit @ high speeds, environment bluring etc.)

And I mean c'mon...this is EA. Imagine if PD put some actual time and effort into emphasizing a real phycological sense of speed. In the demo, the cockpit view felt like an overlayed texture over the standard first person view. In NFS:Shift, it actually felt like you were sitting in a cockpit driving EXTREMELY fast. Probably the only good thing about that game...

From what I have seen I think the sense of speed is great, way better then in NFS Shift and I don't think you can compare the sense of speed in a game with real life.

Btw, you shouldn't be driving at high speeds if you think it's scary:)
