Because you didn't look hard enough. Google the 5-Series Gran Turismo, find a picture of the rear, and match the lights up to the picture (although you might need glasses). I rest my case, since I'm pretty tired.

I've lost track here, which picture are we talking about? I remember seeing the red one that was identified as an X6, but I've never paid enough attention to either monstrosity to be able to tell the difference between them. Is it that, or a different picture?

If you feel like it however give it a shot when the occasion arises, trust me I won't hold it against you.;)

My wit is permanently dulled by wine, you'll be needing someone sharper for first-class mockery. I merely aspire to second-rate taunting.

Something tells me that he's of the relentless sort of folk

Mr Frappy - 17th September 2010 - Not content with merely being TokyoDrift/Gryzor/Nomino and no longer welcome, adds icing by still being unable to express himself without being abusive and using "gay" perjoratively. Even my dogs only take two goes at learning something's unacceptable, and they're both complete morons.

Thanks for the update...

He is a strange character. I asked as his usual tone and manner was coming across thats all. I suspected "Mr Frappy" was him a while back, seen it a few times in the daily news posts. He must be a real sore loser that he cant accept a ban, understand that his "attitude" is not welcomed, yet persisting in coming back instead of moving on.

To coin a phrase "A leopard cannot change its spots"

It's unfair that the North American PSN has so many features. What prevents Sony from giving Europe a similar treat? Same issue when looking at services like Apple TV.

Doesn't Europe psn have a cool feature that you can watch TV on? We don't have that.

I've heard alcohol being used many times as an excuse for overestimating capability, not for downplaying it.;)

Anyway, I've actually digged up the photo claimed to be the BMW 5-series Gran Turismo, is it just me or does the car in question appear to be a convertible ( not sure which make or type ) as opposed to a 5-door Beemer?

New BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo:

All of you Europeans complaining about PSN forget two GT-related things you can hold over us North Americans; the Academy, and the Signature Edition (though that latter one doesn't bother me much at all).

;)

It may or may not be a convertible, since that other car obscures it, but the windshield rake is definitely too sporty for the big-arsed Bimmer!

Europe does have something similar, it is called FirstPlay. The US doesn't get that, the music video app thing, or a few other things.

It goes both ways. Due to the various differing regions Europe does get the negative end of the stick more often, but many times they get things the US doesn't get, or get games months in advance.

As for Qore, it basically is put together by the remnants of the guys that used to do the US PlayStation Magazine that went under a few years back.

I never saw that FirstPlay magazine. I will look for it next time I log in though. I should not discredit SCEE when it comes to digital magazines then.

As you say, it goes both ways. Still, the NA PSN seems better and more suited to my taste and I know many who feels the same way.

More pics of that giant Sony 3D monitor and GT5
Appears to be an older build. AI names have no first initials

Mm, I see your point, but the lights don't match to the 3-Series Convertible. The plot thickens..

Is it Bimmer or Beemer to describe a product made by the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG?

there's a car in front of it, int the top left corner you can see the underside of a car that makes the other car look like a convertable, but it probably isn't.
It could be the beamer, it appears to have the same shape of tail lights.

'Bimmer' was used in a Reggae song.

'Zim zimma, give me the keys to my Bim Bimmer'.

Who Zimma is, I have no idea.. ;)

And I still believe the car is the 5-Series Gran Turismo. ^-^

I say Beemer, i have to be honest i've never seen or heard anyone say it differentely, i didn't even know "Bimmer" was a variation....

Beemer is the correct term for BMW motorcycles. Bimmer is the correct term for BMW cars.

That GT5 "pod" on the last page is beautiful. It's perfect.

Beemer is the correct term for BMW motorcycles. Bimmer is the correct term for BMW cars.

:tup:Dave. I swear you are the first person I've come across that knows this!

But can you back this claim up with anything?

I've got nothing to back this up, but I always thought Beemer was an English slang term, meaning a BMW car or whatever.
