Well it looks like the course creator looks pretty good.

Looks like the usual 5 cars wide rally track..đź‘Ž

What do you mean with "usual"?
You don't want to tell me that Chamonix, Grand Canyon, Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi weren't narrow? If I remember correctly, they said you can change the witdh of a track, pretty sure you will be able to make it as narrow as a normal public road (or like Eiger), that's good enough for me.

Eiger's "too wide"; Citta di Aria is on the money, though đź‘Ť

Curiosity, with performance points, appearing to be gone. I wonder what the Changes category to the right under Status indicates.

Based on the area it is in, seems like it might be something personal so if you start changing options on your car over and over it counts the number of changes? Maybe for an achievement or something like that you have to make so many changes to your cars or something instead of leaving them stock to race?

I dunno.

I wouldn't call Eiger too wide, of course it isn't as narrow as some real WRC stages (which is good, since it's a road course for several cars at once), but that would work already pretty good. And don't forget that mountain road from the FT-86 trailer, that also wasn't too wide.

First of all I'm new to this forum and I read maybe the last 300 pages of this thread and it's amazing, this enthusiasm is incredible.
I want to say something more to the comparison of Forza and GT. I've played Forza 3 for more than 100 hours and finished it in the last days. Really i've enjoyed it very much and also bought every dlc but what the **** T10 is doing with this Ultimate Edition... i feel betrayed.
But luckily GT5 will arrive soon. so I can play with the LFA & SLS and that with much better onboards than in Forza :) In the last weeks I've also played a lot of GT5P (except GT1 I never played any GT game, unfortunately) and have to say that in my mind the pro physics were already better then the Forza 3 physics. So i can't wait until GT5 arrives, especially when i'm reading some posts here how much better the physics in GT5 will be compared to Prologue. Can't imagine how good it will be. Luckily from the release day on i've 2 weeks of free time so I'm able to enjoy the whole GT experience for a long period :)

that video put a smile on my face!! looks realistic how the car reacts, can't wait to do this and see the skidmarks too.!!

The thing that looks really bad is the collision physics, against the wall, and the Mclaren F1 into Enzo....

The old school GT contact physics, which hopefully is sorted when the final damage build is slipped in

For racing multiple cars, like in Prologue, no Eiger isn't too wide at all. But for a proper rally event, it sort of is a bit wide, really. Hence the use of " :)
Anyway, having the option for variable width is a boon. đź‘Ť

Check this out, though:

The taxi gamer has at least four new screens I haven't seen before

I wonder why it says online below...

Indeed it does. Thanks for the heads up.

Another one I haven't seen before

^This pic isn't new. If you find the 8 -18 megapixel version zoom in the VW Golf in the background...you'll find it strange (damaged)

I remember seeing a higher res one of the white BMW, because it looked to me like the Golf in the background was damaged.

(Beaten by Hardvibes ;) )

Wonder why the road looks blurry just under the front tire. Kinda looks like a smudge tool was used. Everything else is beautiful tho esp. the trees.

Textures always get blurry as they get closer to the camera, something to do with texture filtering and mapping. Unless you use ultra large textures

It looks like they overlap the textures unsurprisingly on the cobbles to save space, and it didn't join to well.

Please don't take any visual to the heart, again the TV is a 22 inch displaying in 1080i If you have a true HD TV you should be fine.

I was referring to the screenshot of the BMW. Sorry your reply wasn't there when I posted so I didn't bother quoting. Edited now.

There's the larger version of the BMW. The texture issue just seems like compression due to size restraints. Hopefully they'll include some higher resolution textures in Photo Travel locations than are apparent in these shots.

And as for the Golf, I think that's also a texture/shader issue. It looks to me like they're drawing a LOD model and it's playing with the way the normal/bump map should look.

The mountain road in the FT-86 trailer was very wide compared to real ones in similar locations!

I was saying the same thing! Does it sound like that IRL?

I'm not positive, but I want to say no. I seem to remember it sounding more... "normal" in real life.

These videos are fun, JDM, I'm re-doing my gold tests on S License in GT4 and I'm glad to be able to take breathers and see some of this stuff đź‘Ť. Provided it's open tomorrow (seeing as how it's Canuckistan Thanksgiving), I might pop into the local Best Buy and/or GameStop just to see if they happen to have a demo.

Here are some horn sound from GT5 demo

That is not me laughing IN the Audi video

I can see why Famine and Venari were giggling like school girls now
