Someone like me has a life outside of GT. So maybe that's why as much as I love GT I'm not hung up on a specific release date. Quality takes times. If you want a rushed product go play another race game, NFS Shift is a pretty decent example. A patch had to be added to it. Cars still hit bumps and fly in the air though. I'm not mr. anal about a game. When it comes it comes. If there is word the game is coming, expect it to come. The wait is just that, a wait. If you've waited for it, you might as well wait a bit longer. People act like they'll never release it. Weve got demos to play at stores, game shows showing demos, information from media sources talking about it. It's not vaporware, so I don't get all the fuss over 'a game' even if it is GT5, like I said before.
Thanks for your reply.
I would have to assume all of us have a life outside GT.
I'm not sure I fully comprehend that explanation with regaurd to it's influence on the situation at hand. I have a very full life, but that can't fill a void that only GT can.
At this point, I don't think there is anyway you could consider GT5 "a rushed product".
Almost 6 yrs is still a long, long time to wait, and finally we had an official release date.
The delay was a bitter pill to down, and no new date.
Now back to somewhere over the rainbow.
There will be a future harmonic alignment of the constellations, which apparently is what it will take for release, and we will get to sample Kaz's GT5 wares.
In this case quality doesn't take just time, but largess portions beyond whats comprehendible.
I do have to admit Kaz isn't likely to let the game go until it is near perfect, no matter how long it takes.
Ironically that is precisely the reason it is my favorite game with far and away more hours of play than any other.
On the other hand it also drives my impatience to be playing it already.
As for NFS Shift, its absolute rubbish. I took it back after less than two hours. Although, I thought it had a lot of potential to be a great racer, had it been properly debugged and polished. Truly a shame.
I'm not interested in demos, any more talk and hype, or info, except a soon release date. The time for all that is and has been way over.
Plain and simple, I want the game and nothing else.
