By the way:

Could it be the same place?

Looking through the life-size We Love Cars commercial pictures, some have the location marked where they shot the clips, which is the harbor at Tokyo Bay in Yokohama, ( http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=35.403463,139.688501&spn=0.033651,0.077162&z=14 )

Cargo cranes in the Toyota FT-86 Concept trailer (the first one, where it is unloaded from a truck), certainly look very similar. (different load configuration, but similar models, and three next to each other, which is exactly like the real life harbor) More reason to assume it is a photomode location?

edit: wow too late ;D

All this talk of the move does anyone know if theres move compatabilty on GT5, it would be cool for B-Spec so not only would we be managing the driver/s, but wouldnt it be cool if we could fix car faults and things with it i.e on the endurance races, using the move to bang out dents and remove wheel nuts and things how cool would that be :D

Should we believe random users on a forum instead?

Who's telling you to do that?

The delay on PDs part was 3 days, but we already know that it's more complicated then that. They had to reschedule the printing factories and they can't just do that whenever they want.

Reshedule.

You mean like this?

according to this story.

http://kotaku.com/5671248/rumor-shaun-white-skateboarding-recalled-for-ps3

'Shaun White skateboarding' for the PS3 has also been delayed because of "production issues" with making the Blu-ray's. (they printed up the wrong discs and now have to make a new set)

Except in this case they are able to make up new discs straight away and will get the game into stores just a few days late.

Wow.... I sure am glad Sony can rush that game back through the press'es to avoid any delay whilst we all just sit around waiting to even hear if GT5 has a new release date because of it's "production issue".

The Lambo isn't scratched, it's reflecting the clouds. Scratches were my first thought though too, when I saw that trailer for the first time.

You are wrong.

I'm really surprised, that you don't know this video:

:sly:

edit: ok, i have misread that. :banghead:

Sorry, but you are wrong. The talk was about the Lambo, not the Ferrari, I never said the Ferrari isn't scratched. By the way, you would have figured that out, when you would have read 1-2 pages more after my post.

I think the difference here and someone correct me if I'm wrong, is that Shaun White Skateboarding is 3rd party and the cock up is Sony's, therefore Sony need to appease the developer and minimise the damage caused and shuffle their own products to help compensate. With GT5 being in house they can't move 3rd party contracts out of the way to accommodate GT5 without annoying many (potentially major) developers in the process.

Hrmm that does actually make a lot of sense.

Maybe too much sense...

Nar I think you're right.

Interesting location possibility SHIRAKAWA Akira but the thing that strikes me looking at that picture again is the inclusion of the previous generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class which makes me doubt whether all the cars in those we love cars are even included in GT5 ( or intended to suggest it ).
That generation of C-Class ( at least the 4-door sedan ) wasn't included in GT4 and we already have confirmation ( and proof ) for quite a while that they did include the AMG variant of the current generation C-Class.
And to be honest I don't see the logic of including the previous gen C-Class but then again who am I claim it shouldn't be as they could've included it ( it might have been current, in fact it probably was, when they started modelling the cars anyway ;)).
If not, it could've been the only C-Class they could find perhaps ( which seems strange ) for that shoot and if so the Gran Sport for example the only Maserati, etc.

If you miss a slot they book in another one for you straight away so there would be no reason not to be able to announce a new date pretty much immediately.

They would certainly have been able to announce a new date, but it would almost certainly have been a lot later than they actually want to release. If the story was true then a delay would always be likely while they negotiate with other parties to try to bring that date forward.

Reshedule.

You weren't seriously trying to correct his spelling, were you?

"spats
I think you can download all of the screenshots in .zip files on gran-turismo.com"

sorry to be a pain but how do i do that:dunce:
Firstly, use Chrome

Go to the Japanese gran turismo site, look through the gallery (hover the mouse over the japanese icon, look at the url it links to at the bottom left corner, find the right icon...).

If it has "## In Stock" or similar under a set of pictures, you can download a zip of them all.

And it's been how long since the delay was announced? It was 3 days late and they still haven't worked out a release date?

Don't believe everything a giant corperation tells you..

Funny that the giant corporation actually suppressed that information when it was released on the internet. It wasn't an official statement.

Their official statement mentioned the new release date will be disclosed at the end of October... there is still 25% (7days) of this month to go.

Some people are so impatient. You can start crying wolf when its November if we don't have a release date.

Morning every one.. I just wanted to let you all know that the Play Station Home Theater has new game video of GT5. You'll see a EVO 9 in the snow, Zonda in the rain and so on. Check it out.....

Decent, thanks!

If anyone can get it on youtube that would be great. No PS3 for me today :(

It's the weather trailer. Right when he posted that message I turned my PS3 on to check it. There were like 4 other people running up to the GT5 theater room in Home when I entered the theater. But the only video I saw there was the TGS weather trailer.

Darn, I got my hopes up then :grumpy:.

Gameblog, the very well-known french video game website, will have a special report with, I quote, "tons of exclusive information and a visit of the studio in Japan" next wednesday (27 October). I expect some new stuff because they're very professional and I know that they don't lie.

Yes I do.
Here it is: http://www.directstar.fr/video/n0nuu
It's a the end of the video from 25:10 to 25:18.

According to their sources, GT5 will be released on the 26 of November (in Europe ?).

Thanks for the confirmation link. It looks like Wednesday is that day that we should look forward to for at least some new info and media. Hopefully the new date also.
