Its so sad that EA got the porsche license and brings such arcade games like hot pursuit with porsche in it... Seems like porsche really dont care about their cars in games...

Personally, I suspect that the GT Porsche issue might be because this manufacturer is oversensitive to performance comparisons with japanese sports cars, and also Yamauchi's ties with Nissan.

Interesting thought really, but it probably still is a licence issue, besides, I personally kinda doubt that Porsche fears comparison with others. (Though I know about what you were thinking-GTR vs. the new 911 back then?)

There were 3 or 4 people after his post saying they thought it was funny. I'm not sure why your sense of humor should remain supreme here.

Then you criticize with a rude tone. He responds kindly, and then you respond with a rude tone again. Odd.

No we can't move on, because GT5 isn't out yet. They delay IS the issue.

They already got beaten by the automotive equivalent of Voltron in their own backyard, they should just deal with it and move on.
 
Hm, Jordan is quite often here today, does that mean something? Because I never paid attention to it before. Some old veterans got an answer?

He is likely looking for news to report since the deadline to the supposed new launch date announcement is fast approaching.
 
Aw, people's feelings were hurt. We keep going on and on about the same thing and people make jokes over and over. It's old. We should move on. Everyone knows GT5 is delayed, great. Nothing we can do about it. But stifling the thread, and putting up images that take up half the thread page I think is pointless, the joke wasn't even funny. People here don't seem to think clearly when you have a game the size of GT5. I don't try to make fun of Kaz, because he's doing something I don't think any of us could do. Having a thousand cars in a game with almost 100 tracks and weather at 1080P and 60FPS is a big deal. A big deal that takes a long time. So what if it's delayed. We'll get the game soon enough. I said practice patience. I didn't say 'yo take that stupid ass picture down' or anything like that. I didn't say the person was stupid, I said the point has already been made, we don't need a HUGE post with pictures to tell us over again.

What if they just completely skipped GT5 and continued completely GT6

'I'm sorry everyone, we felt that GT5 was so outdated 5 years into development we just decided to focus all efforts on GT6 to create the most definitive racing simulator. We have thrown all code away and started fresh'
 
Just thinking....

My Chemical Romance is at Paris games week today (Thursday) I know they are there for Activision but it seems a little bit of a coincidence that Activision would choose them. Well to me it does.
Especially as today Sebastien Loeb is there too.

I wonder if they were originally booked to do something for GT5 too. You know GT5 theme song with the opening movie running at the back of them? Then at the end a release date. :)

Can't find them on stage any other day though. Would have been stunning dont you think?

Freshseth, you're being just too hard/rude, admit/accept that and move on, we're not the ones, who need to move on. It is absolutely natural to express disappointment.

Eating our own own words are we? I find it humorous that you preach patience yet, you don't practice that virtue when it serves you best. Patience with your fellow human beings is equally, if not more important than in demonstrating that ability while waiting for a game.
 
*sigh* I think we are all just fustrated here...Its almost the end of the week and not even a peep...I am really starting to get nervous though has PD ever released new info on a weekend? I think not...And isn't monday the 1st?

hmmm if Sony wants to hit a profitable quota this holiday I say DEC 15-20 if they decide to pull their pants down and give Kaz more time then Q1 2011
