The Sony presentation is likely going to be the exact same one that they did a few days ago. SEMA is a much more likely place for the game to receive a release date since Kaz will be there.

As there don't seem to be any live streams or blogs covering the conference I won't be following it today ...and visit GTP afterwards

I don't believe that is an official Sony website, although I may be wrong.
If I'm correct though, that is just as good as any other retailers guess.

Woke up this morning to find a nice welcome patch for another racing game.
Sony beat their rivals on both PC and Microsoft to the punch.

Well I don't think they ever close their working places. There are always people there 24/7 all days all months. So of course, news can come anytime. However it would be rather wierd if a night employee shouts out the release date on the internet when he is on he's 5fth coffee 3am. But who knows

So there are quite a few people who look 10 times a day on GTP! That's relieving, I was afraid I was the only one obsessed with GT5! Well I definitely need a trip too...

Apparantly it indeed did, could I suggest trying to wait with posting illiterate thoughtless ramblings until the evolutionary process is reversed back ( if it was reversed initially in the first place that is )?
Or might I suggest speeding up the evolutionary process by reading other posts and trying to think ( if that isn't an alien concept to you ) before posting?
I've seen cave paintings which made more sense even in this context.

Maybe that is the maximum date it will come out ? Also the whole Gran Turismo site says it comes out November. Although the US site says Holiday 2010.

I'm trusting this. Sony Style is an official retailer of Sony products. I know no release date is official until it comes from PD or Sony directly, but the 'about 30th November' seems very possible to me. Until a new date is confirmed, I am personally trusting this one.

I honestly don't think it will release by the 30th because as far as we know it hasn't gone gold yet and I'm sure Sony would tell us proudly if it had!

I can't remember any announcements of Uncharted 2 gone gold. I remember the Killzone 2 gold announcement , but I don't think they would announce it. Anyway , according to Yamauchi Gran Turismo is never 'done' of gold.
The Whois lookup for the domain lists sony as the owner, so the site is most likely official.

As for me, I'm not expecting it to be that early. Yes, it is possible, but I'd prefer to set my head to think it will be released someday in December.
It will be sort of a frustration if we fully believe it will be released in November, but in the future it's not released yet in the month.
I won't expect as far as 2011, though.
