You guys need to seriously step away from the computers and from anything GT related. Is is honestly that important to you?

Collectively, it is the only thing important to us.

We are the biggest community of Gran Turismo fans in the world, we have a right to be disappointed with what has gone on.

Because no one here gives a 🤬. We NEED this game. :grumpy:

Really? Is it necessary to live? Is it vital to everyone's survival? You guys are sad & strange people.

^ While I agree with you, and I could wait however long it takes, you're just doing it wrong. Perhaps that is just your way of coping with the delays? Keep telling yourself that.

I'm not questioning your right to be upset, what I question is the method alot of people have chosen to express their frustraition, especially since it involves harassment.

I simply don't get upset, period. I learned the lesson from GT4 and since then just don't feel this rage like many others do. Sorry its abnormal to you, but thats me. There is no "coping" I do.

👍

👎 Your post is the pathetic one.

👍
Almost all his recent posts have been negative towards this site, sony, PD and GT5, it's becoming rediculous really.

Indeed.

I am looking forward to it as much as anyone. I have already bought the PS3, GT5P along with the DFGT wheel and the Turbo S wheel will arrive Wed. I would love to be able to play it this week but I am sure I can find something to keep myself busy until it gets here. Odds are in 4-6 weeks the disc will be in my console and the wait will be rewarded :)

One word that people here lack.

PATIENCE.

Spend time doing something other than patrolling GTPlanet Sony and Gaming sites looking for the latest rumor on GT5. It's useless to concern yourself with rumors. All you gotta do is invest some of your time in something else. That new Star Wars game looks interesting enough to waste some time till GT5 is around.

when will you all realize Sony doesn't care how 'angry' we are and how 'bad' we want GT5. They know they have us by the balls no matter what they do. Just accept it quietly, posting on the sony board is only going to make them laugh.

By negative comments I mean saying that it would be good for Jordan to make a news post 🤬 and complaining to Sony how "we all want a release date and deserve this game! You owe it to us!".

But really, doing that would be completely pointless, and also, Sony and PD really don't owe us this game AT ALL.

Wajdi: take a note from this, because I'm pretty sure it's the only reason you are posting things like this.

Hehe, agree. IMO, a lot of criticism is fair game in this situation. But I find it nauseating watching people (some of them intelligent adults) relentlessly spread their all their angry emotions about the place. The little army of angry GT5 fans at the playstation blog is surreal.

oK!now it's clear for me:tup:

Delays, sadly, are in gran turismo's nature. However, I love the commitment of "most" of the posters here. Those who continue to defy or speculate, or curse those who live only to give us the greatest racing series possible are fools. I love gran turismo and will always continue to, and I feel sorry for those who claim will turn their backs on them because of a delay. This game will change our lives, you shouldn't change yours waiting for it so deal,

Sony**

And they will, people need to release that and just calm down and wait for them to anounce a new date.. It's not that hard..

As much as you preach this, not everyone is going to come to that realisation, not everyone is patient. It's understandable, we've been waiting too long for GT5, although i totally agree with you, you can't try to force people to wait paitently and stop complaining.

In my opinion there are two scenarios possible:

a) Sony wants either to wait to be 100% certain that all the necessary copies of GT5 will be manufactured in time for the release date before disclosing it, in order to avoid other further embarassing situations;

b) There have been development problems at Polyphony Digital and Sony are trying to postpone release date announcements to make people to at least buy the hardware (PS3, wheel, TV) for the holiday season on the trust that the game will be soon released. Soon after that or towards the end of the year new announcements will be made.

At this point you CAN NOT trust Sony or PD as to when the game is ACTUALLY coming out. November 2nd was it, THAT was the day, and low and behold within 20 days they delayed the game. There have been so many days it should have been out the door, so the only way to push hardware is to bundle the game (so it will be physically in store)

True.

People have waited years for this game, but they shouldn't turn away with less than 2 months left before it's released (Hopefully).
