Is there anybody from the forum going to SEMA ? Or know someone or something to keep the GT world up to date ? Would be nice if GTPlanet report it first. (If it happens...)

Was my pick-up from the video aswell, I'm thinking that could well be racing modification, however, I like to hope you can make it slightly more extensive

In my country, Scotland, we get live streaming of a lot of channels because of the hills. They do things to television. So i thought you may have discovered this in America. And we stream stuff like BBC 1... So i thought SEMA may be the same...

Soooo, My chemical toilet can play GT5 but we cant... if I knew you had to write a song to get my hands on a copy I would have got to work ages ago!

Fix it. My PS3 got the YLOD a couple of weeks ago, and I fixed it with information from around the web and it has been doing great, and running much cooler. I spent about $50 on the stuff to do it, but that included the price of the heat gun, which I can use for many things down the road. Once you do it, though, it will probably be re-occuring after a few months, but it is easy to do, so I will probably do it a few more times before I break down and get another PS3, because I would have a hard time giving up my 60gb model. If I can get 3-4 months out of a repair, I will be happy, and continue for about a year, but make sure that once you get it up and going to back up your data, because it will YLOD again, unless you have it reballed by a professional, which is suppose to be the end all fix.

Hey!!!
BBC1 and SEMA is totally different. BBC is a big broadcast company with loads of camera's , computers and everything needed to show their products to millions of people worldwide. SEMA has no profit in making a video stream , so why would they buy all that stuff ? And IF , it probably will be one crappy camera....

That's a bit selfish now isn't it? To counterbalance it I will say I hope your PS3 is ready to be fired up again once GT5 gets released, maybe a day late simply for making that remark

Yes , but still no reason to stream anything. 
If the Sony conference or whatever it will be , be streamed , it will be done by some big gaming website or by Sony themselves or something.

There is no conference at SEMA. Kaz goes around and looks at cars to find a winner. Once he does they hold an awards presentation where he announces the winner and typically gives them a custom PS3. So there isn't much to stream. If the date is announced there then it's going to be on the official site and hte PSblog right away. They'll probably even issue a press release. So there isn't going to be much (if any) lag between any release date announcement there and when we find out.

Looks like (if we assume this) that race tuning your car just gives it some tuning and decals...maybe?

Tourist Trophy allowed us to add/change our racing numbers. I guess we can be sure that simple feature will be included in GT5.

I think all the GT game previous have had an auto paint that gave them this kind of look, i'm guessing GT5 will have the same.
