I'm inclined to believe that these people just throw out some random number and then make it sound as if they have a rep from Sony sitting in their store making sure that no copies leave.

Guys, resize the pictures! I have a 19" screen and it's still freakin huge!
Also we've already seen the case millions of times. Why didn't you take a pic of the install screen instead?
To give you an Idea on how big they were, I have a 24" LG LCD and it fit just perfect, took up the whole screen but fit perfect lol.

come on guys the early copies are usually pocketed I have a close friend who does this with big releases all the time if one store in every state of the us let one copy go thats 3k PD got screwed over for these illegal pre-sales will have an affect on first day sales dont you guys want PD to break some records?

Selling a copy early is NOT illegal (in the U.S. anyway). And to say that they lose 3k for one copy of a game is silly. If they were that valuable, they wouldn't sell it for $60 USD.

Where in Canada ? (some bigger retailers in Québec seem to have already received their copies)
Does anybody in Montréal would be courageous enough to call all the local EBGames, GameBuzz, HMV, Futureshop, etc... to know when we'll be able to happily spend our money in their shops ?

I don't, not anything that amar212 didn't answer, he's got a 2 1/2 day headstart into the game. Someone might have a question for you tho lol, probably your first question will be if the G27 is supported with the H shifter and all, and then you'll say you don't have a G27, and you'll get walls of text being asked the same thing that you can't do over and over again

My bad. But even then, stores can legally sell these games before the launch date. Sony isn't losing any money by stores selling a few copies early.

No, they just have to CYA (cover your butt) because if they sell you a copy 5 days early and you blab to everyone about it and it traces back to that store, they're in trouble.

I doubt GameStop will break street date. Try smaller shops or big chains like Wal-Mart. (if anyone breaks street date, they would)
But Sony can slap them with a huge fine for doing so. $$$$$$

Offer the cashier a $10 bribe. He probably doesn't get paid a lot and doesn't really care as long as it doesn't get traced back to him. Also if you pay for the game in cash and have him hold off on actually charging the game until release date then there is no way of knowing they sold it. That's what I would do.

Yeah, that's true, but I see it like this, I know 2 other people in this city who has a PS3. Everybody else I know own a 360. The 2 I know are family. They don't like racing games all that much, so the only people who I'd tell is you guys. Which one of ya'll going to come here and buy a copy?

If I were them .... there is no point of risking to pay 5000 for 5 days earlier of selling !
Please let us know if the wheel is fully supported, LED lights, shift paddles, ETC.
