Perhaps a better name for this thread (at least for the next few days) would be: Spoilers and other ways to kill your unique experience with GT5 due to Eastern European pricks and others, et al.

How about this: A Study of North Americans and Western Europeans inability to quell temptations resulting in loss of productivity, increase borrowing and the breakdown of civil society ;)

Hi Guys

Sorry if anyone has posted last night, but has anyone in the uk got an email from Play .com yesterday saying collectors edition has been posted .I know I was waiting for them to send it to the courier like the other retailers

pretty sure thats wrong, everything ive read says g27 is working perfectly

Just because it works doesn't mean its fully supported. From what we know, you still have to press triangle at the start of each race to engage the clutch. Also, from my understanding the buttons aren't customizable either.

Is this real?

The jagged lines aren't from the game, that's how the image was sized if that's what your looking at, also the quality of the images isn't that great at all, go to the other threads with images, that's what you should be comparing them too.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=132225 there's a link for ya.

Welll that's how the real gameplay looks. All the beautiful images are from photomode which improves quality greatly. What you see in the screenshots is how the game looks while you're driving.

They did a pretty good job considering they are using a camera and just pointing it at the tv. So, I would say it is pretty close. But, it will look better once you are porting it directly to your tv from blu ray through hdmi. ;)

Yea, thank you lorddevil. I was definitely happy to see them, but I guess not everyone has the same connection speed and some don't have unlimited data.

With this video - did the engine stall at 2:05? And then started up again
He's using a G25 with manual clutch and H-shifter

Not sure, but I'm guessing he just had it in neutral.

By the way, I hope this guy does more video's. Solid driving and good commentary.

My internet connection is fine, but for consideration to others, a link would be more appropriate especially due to the size and number of pictures.

I guess my post could have been misunderstood, but me and you are on the same page. ;)

I can hear the engine stop, he's already in neutral before this happened. My guess is he let the clutch in. And then the starter motor can be heard and the engine kick back into life.

Agreed. They're quite entertaining to watch. In his M3 / Nurb GP video, I liked how he called the other cars his enemies. Not 'competition'. Not 'AI drivers'. Not 'the field'. Enemies. I may just have to adopt that.

👍
