A little off topic but can anyone explain how to install GT5 to the HDD as apparently the game doesn't prompt you automatically?

As i do not have the game yet...if its not auto am guessing its through the options menu just like GT5:P As for the stream, they said they were restarting the PS3 to link the PSP garage data and that they were taking a small break.
 
He has gone offline for now it seems. Have been watching most of the morning. A chap who used to work for Turn10 (apparently) came into the chatroom and was mostly praising what he saw too :)

Does anyone know when the review embargo is to be lifted? I'm surprised that so close to release, there are no official reviews or new trailers.

Review scores won't affect my decision to buy the game but they'd be interesting to read!

probably a good thing, alot of the whingers/moaners/complainers seemed to have migrated somewhere else :)

i just realised that i'm working weds morning, i put my name down to do it before the new announcement. Typical. still its only till 1pm

Yeah that would be a bonus am looking forward to it 👍

Also 2 player mode on the stream! Cant wait to see this. I do alot of 2 player just wished there were more camera angles to select ah well :)

Weird there is no rear view for you to watch your opponent.

2. Day of GT5 just starting :)

A-Spec lvl 12, IA license done
B-Spec lvl 2 :)

The B-Spec guy is owing beginner series in his Nissan Micra Cup Car, go go Bob, while I take a shower and get ready to tackle pro series that unlocked today.

About the shadows ...
The standard cars have really wired shadows, esp. the tesla (watched the demo in the car shop, looks very jaggy on the sides)
The premium cars don't see to have that problem ... the shadows are much smoother on those.

Negatives:
Not really anything besides I have to do the IA-10 test again (SPOILER: 2 lap battle grand valley in a lambo 560, which is really bad until you try to hit both pedals gas and brake together) At that moment you just fly past the others ... 2nd place, would have been silver, than ... black screen ...

Need to do IA-10 again ... awww :( but the fans on my PS3 where at 100% and I think it just overheated at that point. After 10 minutes of break for the poor PS3 (working hard for 10 hours straight) it cooled. Fans where silent again and I redid the 2nd on the IA-10 ...
Price car: SPOILER! Some Hemi Pickup Truck ... YUCK ... something fast would have been nice, after doing the IA tests with mostly 400-600hp cars, tackling corners in numerous siuations ... I get a Pickup Truck ... :ouch:
2. I really like to drive in cockpit view which is just not available on so many nice cars ... my garage has like 3 premiums (My Reallife Golf Mk4, the PD Go-Kart for the Kart Challenge - good thing THAT's premium ... and 1 more) and about 25 standard cars that I also really like to drive but they just don't have no cockpit view :(

Positives:
EVERYTHING ELSE :)

<3 Grand Valley, Laguna Seca, Deep Forest, Special Stage 5 (Nightrace, looking sweet) <3
<3 Replays, Blue VW Cockpit lights at night. B-Spec Bob getting money while I type, cleanup from yesterdays 10hour session, and taking a shower GO BOB GO <3
<3 Lightning, Motor Sounds, Force Feedback Improvments, Feeling of Rally (and the sounds the G27 produces when rallying, sound like heavy machinery working inside of it, or a bunch of angry turtles :) <3
<3 B-Spec BOB flashing the HIGH beams when a alfa cut him, yeah bob ! <3
<3 BOBs name is R.Morel (you can not type in a name, just press a button to random generate a name ... wired) <3
PS: Standard cars are not the bad to watch in a replay. Shiny, Fire from the Exhaust, all good. Just ... no cockpit ...
