I just want it because i have nothing to play on my ps3. And i already have a book similar to that about racing in the rain. And other people already have it so why cant I? And plus im just impatient:D

Pattience is a virtue, or something. What about driving in the dry?

It's a superb book by the way (see the reviews), but heavy going in places. I've been reading it over the last 18 months (Haha, I'm not a slow reader by the way!) in preparation for this game. Whether I'll be any quicker or not only time will tell but it helped with prologue.

O dude your the best. This guy at work had it in his tool box and said i could have it. ( This dude races a 550 hp datsun 510 and a 890 hp r34). But I been just glimpsing over a few pages and its a good book. And you seem like a well informed guy what would you suggest g25 or g27 im on a $200 budget though

Haha, I've conned you then if you think I'm well informed! To be honest mate, I'm debating that exact choice myself at the minute. I've got the old Driving Force Pro which is ok but can't decide what to upgrade to! Hopefully get a Christmas bonus soon so I've a few weeks to decide.

I think there is a thread about it somewhere, I'm just a bit wary about the buttons being on the gearshift rather than the wheel as I like to adjust brake balance etc mid lap sometimes and I'm worried It won't be as easy on the gearshift.

Good luck with the book, you may find yourself reading some stuff twice so that it sinks in, or maybe I'm just daft?

Exelent information, any confirmation it standard cars can obtain this tuning aswell?

Yes you can tune standard cars, did already. But there are even premiums that can't fit certain items like differential controller oder silpdiv. My Golf is Premium and can't fit both of those.

I did not find anything to changes brakes, but I have the feeling they get better either via some upgrade or just because the overall car is tuned higher it gets better brakes ?

And for the "ABS 1 - solves everything" guys that always break on the stop, you time is over. On a Lambo you have to controll your brakes and gas with a good amount of "feeling" or you will lock up the front wheels easy, or fly of cause the rear is lose.

Had not qualifying yet. Lvl 14.9.
Up to Pro League, none yet.

Trying to get S-License the moment 15 hits.

Still don't know how/when the used car shop updates ...

How many different wheels are supported? I have the Driving Force Pro, pretty sure it will be supported but thought I would check.

It's for some sneaky don't-tell-the-other-half-what-I've-bought-on-credit-card type purchase I may have to make otherwise.

Yeah, may have a peek at that thread myself. Bet I'll still be none the wiser, I hate making exciting purchase decisions for fear of getting it wrong! Usually cash or lack of it makes the decision for me though.

Something awesome I just noticed, don't know if anyone else has pointed it out... smoke/water spray changes colour as the sun goes down. I've just been watching a replay and it's suddenly turned to a nice shade of orange.

GT's Rally events?? I think its Toscana tarmac, clearly theres a co-driver reading notes!

Im starting to wonder if ALL cars will have this function and not just premiums...:scared:

Also wonder if co-drivers weight will be added to total mass.

Awesome pics.

The graphics have certainly improved over GT5: P. The Golf GTI was in GT5: P but didin't look THAT good. It is Premium after all I guess.

I've had the g25 for two years and in my opinion it's actually easier to change settings on the gearshift rather than on the wheel since the gearshifter buttons are always stationary. It's easy to steer with one hand while fiddling the buttons with the other.

It's a matter of opinion though but that's just my two cents.

OK8

Cheers fella, appreciate your comments. Food for thought certainly. I suppose I'd trained myself in the old way.
