Just visited my local game shop.. he has my CE in tomorrow but wont give it till me until thursday... i asked how much of a bribe it would take to get it NOW... he laughed and said 20 grand would do the trick, just enough to pay the fine... so i pulled out my companies credit card (which has no limit) put it on his table and said "ring 'er up" he laughed at me and told me to leave before he thinks twice...

It has been confirmed that we get 20,000 credits to start. Not sure on cars though.

Well there is not nearly anything for the money at the dealerships, and the used car dealer will have like 3-4 in stock that you have enough money for. 1 being a MX5 and one Gallant, that's about as much as I remember. But after doing license 1-2 (eg. C B) you get 2 nice cars that help a lot tackling amateur series.

Also can someone with the game answer this question about the prize ticket system:
Do you actually get a ticket for a unique car that can't be obtained anywhere else or just a random ticket or what?

You get a Ticket when you win a series. That ticket can be used by entering the "Car Delivery" from the main menu. Then you see all the ticket you got at the moment, if you pick up you get that car added to your garage and the ticket is gone. Just a 2 stop pick up to new cars instead of putting em directly into your garage. I guess it's there just to make you happy 2 times. First when you win. Second when you are back in the menu.

And somebody questioned the GT5P connection. Well there seems to be none at all. I did not do an extensive search, but did not find any point in options considering GT5P. I have a full save of GT5P on the same PS3, yet nothing showed/poped up.

Can't answer the PSP related questions. I don't have a PSP :)

Does anyone know If a human player can race someone else's B-spec Bob, like online for instance?

Was already thinking if you can race B-Spec online.. 💡
I would guess you can run in B-Spec mode, possibly, but no human Vs. Bob. For sure, not.

The manager at my local EB Games just let me see my Signature Edition box, but he was too scared of losing his job or a $10,000 fine if he let me take it.

He says the earliest I can pick it up is 8:30am Thursday as they are not doing a midnight launch.

The guy is a good sport, and offered to let me play GT5 on their demo console in store, even though it was pretty much 6pm and he was waiting to close up shop... so if you are in the Carindale area they have GT5 running in store.

This waiting is killing me, I think today was the slowest day at work I can remember...

I'm working Thursday but I have Friday off.

While Thursday will be completely arse, it works out well for me, picking up my new PS3 and GT5 on Thursday afternoon from Harvey Norman and having 3 full days and 4 nights with it.

Holy balls I can't wait. So damn keen.

Today alone was terrible. 3 more days is going to kill me.

Also, anyone thinking of getting a wheel, fork out for the G27.

Far greater features and I guarantee that you'll eventually use it with other games.

From someone who has a 'budget' wheel, I assure you, it won't take long before you want that clutch and H box etc.

Delivered Canberra GAME's stockpile of GT5 today. EB Games will get theirs tomorrow I presume. I have to admit, compared to the amount of stock I've delivered recently for other big name games (taking in to account multi-platform vs single platform release) there doesn't seem to be many GT5 freaks here in the capital. GAME had extra stock of all 3 levels of GT5.

Lets be honest though, Canberra doesn't really go off like an epileptic in a strobe light convention. Its like a small town with a big buildings.

Got an email from Game(UK) timed at 9:21 yesterday (Sunday) saying 'your order is on the way' (Oh! my baby is out there all alone). I don't think it will have moved out of the stock room yet so I am thinking maybe Tuesday for delivery?

The guy who made this video has uploaded quite a few other GT5 videos on YouTube today:

I want to know what music is being played during both the race and the replay.

Guys, I have a simple qs.
Is there any advantages in the future for those having CE and SE over others with the regular edition?
I mean like DLCs or anything otherthan the 5 cars coming with the pakage??

If there is an advantage I will try to have SE or CE.
I dont like to be in the back after few months alone.

Thanks...

Yeah seen this ,thinking about getting one.Nice to Know you can play GT5 when your controller is switched off

i got my DFGT last week, and been using it for a little bit on F12010. The wheel is superb, really enjoy using it. i've easily taken time of my best laps with it, and yet i'm not at hte stage with being consistant on every lap. I would really recommend it. The pedals, well, i havn't used the g27/25's, but the brakes are more stiff than the accelerator, and on f1 2010 they do the job, i'm sure that the more expensive wheel's, pedals probably are more 'fluid' but they do the job for me, for now.

Anyway, my gt got dispatched tis morning, by the dreaded royal mail, So hopefully tomorow, and should by weds have it. and there was much rejoicing. and im working tonight for 5 hours so time should go quick, but then the matter of getting off to sleep!

- also is anyone gonna play it from time to time using a controller, because i won't be able to use it (the wheel) all the time, with living with the parents, using the controller is going to be well, inconvient- although i got on alright with the TT demo with one

You get a few extra cars starting with the CE. I don't think they were that special to begin with. They'll probably release them as DLC at some point. Get the CE if you want to make sure you'll have them. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.
