The location doesnt really matter. They can process your order tomorrow afternoon, get it on a plane and it will get to you on time. That's what overnight shipping is.

FedEx has a buncha big ass planes that are used for situations like this that fly all around the EDIT: world all day everyday. They fly overnight to various airports, drop off the load, get it on the trucks and *ding dong*, your doorbell is ringing.

I have my binoculars and my AK-47 ready, in case UPS parachutes my GT5 at the last minute and it lands on my neighbor's house...mwaha!

Why? Well I know your version is not in the game, but the FD2 is way better IMO. I can understand that your car is not in there though so i would be tight also. I drive a 2010 Honda Civic SI so i'm pretty happy the FD2 is in the game.

Don't get me wrong, I like the FD2 as well, but I liked the thought of being able to drive my car in the game in ways I wouldn't be able to on the road :sly:
It would have been nice to have seen them both make the final cut.
 
I feel blessed right now- I get double the goods. Not only do I get GT5 this week finally, but just picked up a 535i Twin Turbo too. I get video and reality driving rushes this week yessir!
 
all car can be tuned, there's small stuff you can't do on standard, like rims.

For those that got the game, did you also had black screen and game wont load anything after it ? usually happen after hitting retry. Happen to me already 5-6 times.

but the standard cars have a possibility to tuning (change turbo, tyre, exhaust, ECU, ecc) or only for premium cars???

of course you can tune up standard cars ;) Also i will be playing tomorrow. I hope i will not get ban or something for playing it day earlier..
 
Hi folks, major problem here: I CANNOT STEER!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried Dual-Shock, tried Sixaxis. neither stick nor button steering works... help me please. I also deleted my 50 minute install...

I got an email from amazon fr a few minutes ago, they've just shipped my CE and I will be getting it tomorrow morning. Excited, I've seen the game in stores since friday but couldn't find any CEs.

Did you messed up wiht the controller setting in option and forgot to put direction somewhere ? Did you check that ?
 
wow, these Gamespot guys are BOOORING? I mean come'on! these guys are putting me to sleep. You would think they would have hosts who were enthusiastic about the game.

Welcome, harris360!

I edited your post to fix up your spelling; try to avoid "textspeak" in the future (ex: "pls"). However, I'm quoting this in hopes someone can help you, since I imagine the excitement of having the game and the unfortunate situation you're in right now could be frustrating! Have you made sure your controllers are properly charged? Also, does the controller respond in menu screens, just not in race? You may want to check your controller settings in the Options Menu if that's the case.

Hopefully someone with the game can help!

Unfortunately I must agree. They seem very unenthused, and he seems to suck at driving, even with some of the assists on. Not to say I'm really good, but C'MON!:D

Yes I did. I have no idea at all? I am playing b-spec now. Very strange that I am the only one with this prob.

I have restarted the game a couple of times, turned of the system, switched controllers.

I am totally upset. I am sitting here with the game in my drive and I cannot play :-(

What's wrong with not driving from the cockpit view? I don't plan to use it, personally.

Did you try to remake all your pad configuration in option ? Like set up all direction.
If you have a 2nd pad, maybe you want to try that one too ?
No reason it wont work. HOwever you know that you can't drive in B-spec right ?
