The point of my comment was that this presenter is an unenthusiastic boob who speaks in a melodramatic tone that puts me to sleep. I gave up on Gamespot years ago for their consistently bad journalism, but this guy needs to go see a shrink. I'm worried he is about to commit suicide during this episode considering how depressed he sounds.
I mean, this gamespot presenter just said, and i quote.. "i havent really payed around with the tuning options." Wow.. hopefully he writes the review for the game considering he is really doing a stellar job playing with all the games features... *SARCASM.
Chris, who is posting in the GT5 video forum is much more entertaining and informative.
Is there no thread dedicated to just graphics discussion? If there is can someone please link me to it.
I really don't know what to expect from this game now graphically in some areas.
And this probably sounds like a stupid and fussy question, but, trees. I saw one video the other day and I thought the trees looked awful. They looked like flat sprites or something.
My question is, just how good are the trees? How good do they look? Are they at least on par with the trees in Forza 3?

if you play with premium cars against premium car, the game looks awesome I think. As soon as standard comes, the metallic paints just render horribly while playing, in replay or photomode it's ok but really while playing it's horrible. Make you feel like you're playing a upped to HD version of GTPSP.

Something's been on my mind all day. I bought the game saturday, and have been playing it religiously, but...
Quite a few details are odd. I won't discuss or disclose them, apart from the absence of point to point tracks in the Course Maker. And the Museum part, too.
Leads me to think that the game, as is, is not complete ; and that the day one update will make it so. You could see this as a pirates deterrent, as the cracked consoles are unable to play online.
Thing is, the update might very well erase any existing save. I'm not too worried about that last part, as I barely bronzed my B license and acquired just over 20 cars so far (3 premiums, mind you).
Anyone thinks I could be on to something, or just plain wrong ?

My GameStop CE pre-order still shows shipping 11/24. With the Holiday, there's a possibility I won't see it until Monday the 29th.
Dude my gamestop has the standard editions i say them un-boxing it last Thursday when i went it. To ask if i could pick it up that friday. The guy was going to say yes but his jerk off boss said wait release date around 11ish. You should check out outer states gamestops
