Well for those people who lives in Madrid (i´m in Barcelona) good news!!!!!
Tomorrow Kazunori Yamauchi will be in GAME store at Preciados Street 20:00pm and those who go, can buy copies of Gran Turismo 5 Standard edition and Collector´s edition at the same PRICE! (10 € discount) and at 21:00 hs Kazunori Yamauchi will sign those copies for everyone in there!!!!
So those who can or have time or live there go and say thanks for the game for me an everyone here at GTPlanet (oh...Jordan will be there on Wednesday:P). I can´t travel so enjoy it. Is one chance in a million.

can you sell price cars over and over again?

Once every car. If you won 3 cars or 30 you can sell all of them of course as in GT4. But not the same car 20 times, i mean If you win a mazda miata you sell it and thats all bye bye. Then win again that car (not sure if it is possible in licenses ((not at all)) but you can in the main event races for sure as in GT4) for sell it again and get some credits.

Don't worry there are more pages

Yes, I know that there are 5 series in the A spec mode. And there are 9 events in the beginner and amateur series each. But I hope that the game has more race events in the higher series( professional or extreme series). I mean 5 stages with 9 events makes 45 events in the A spec mode. And thats far too little for Gran Turismo, especially if you look at GT 3 and GT 4 and a wait of 5 years.

For some reason, I'm really loving the menu Music. I know most could car less, but its just really good to me.

👍, I usually don't care about the music, have always turned off the in race music & turned up environmental sounds since GT3.
After watching JUSTINTV this weekend really loving the sound, though the music different it ties itself back to previous GT's.

I wasn't too impressed with the game spot demo, it look so dated and non impressive. The two guys announcing looked like the cast of Top Gear before
they were cool.

and to people complaining about damage, the cars detail model if fine,
the car isn't meant to be smashed into a wall. Just slightly grazed to show
error in driving. They didn't design the game for wack jobs.

To be fair, the game is the real driving simulator, and in real life, accidents do happen and cars do get wrecked.

well, GAME in Watford have lost my money. went into store today to ask whether they would have a midnight sale, and the guy said that its not coming till the end of the month and he saw that on the top gear website. told the idiot to get his manager and he said they have the game but arent selling till friday. its ok though, every other store in town said that they are selling on wenesday. oh well, GAME sux

I was disappointed to learn that Juan Pablo Montoya's NASCAR is in GT5 and it's Premium. (Even though all NASCARs are premium). The reason is, I've met him. We are both from the same country. And he's not exactly the best or nicest person or driver.

Why did PD include his car, when there are so many more NASCAR drivers that are... better?

It is so strange that you confirm my assumptions about this person & driver...

You're absolutely right.
Real life sometimes isn't fun though... ;)

(I also like the damage we've seen in demos better, but at the end of the day, all I care for is a good, fun game ...)

So go take your car and do that in real life then if you want to
Oh please, stop trying to defend the indifensible. PD and Sony themselves talk about realistic damage since june 2009. And they still mention it in the latest Kevin Butler's ad. Ok, where is it?

It is time to get at least on par with the competion, period.

So you like NFS more than GT. I like GT because it tries to be more realistic than just fun.

Is there any point of me trying to defend this?
Let's see from your side what your so disappointed about.
The damage is not "realistic" enough for you. All your trying to prove
is that because the Lamborghini doesn't split in half for you there's now
no reason to get this game because PD is misleading you on how realistic
this game really is.

CMON RLY?

Is there any information about how many events in A Spec Mode total? I saw beginner and amateur have 9 events each, what about other series? ( I hope it's not 9 x 5 = 45 events, it's not enough in my opinion)

No - the damage is not realistic full stop. Ever dented a car? Yeah - doesn't take much does it?

Like I said I'm not going to defend all day.
If you wanna play a game where you spend your time crashing into walls
all day I suggest you play GRID. That is the only worth while full price game I
can recommend.

BAH - must not feed the troll.

the standard cars in motion look very brilliant, now I can confirm that!👍
the engine sounds improvements are very noticeable:tup:
the slipstream,finally,very realistic:tup:
the physic,in my opinion, are very similar to iRacing:tup:
the feedback from the wheel(G27)is strong and gives a good sensations:tup:
Thanks PD,VERY GOOD JOB:tup:👍👍

Nobody is going to play the game like that, but we want to face consequences for making a mistake during a race. You might as well say argue that photo mode is a completely useless feature as it has nothing to do with driving. Nobody will not buy the game because damage sucks, but I'm sure as hell disappointed that a game of this magnitude has so many short comings.

People so worried about damage and im still looking for information on tire pressure and wheel size/width. Its like its a conspiracy.

People on here need to take their heads out of Polyphony's backsides.
The Damage (what we've seen so far ) is not up to scratch.

Maybe that blurry stuff from earlier in the year is their attempt then they took it out because everyone thought it looked ridiculous

GT5 needed decent damage really because it cant call itself the real driving simulator and not have damage when you crash..

It will still be an awesome game though, dont get me wrong.
