My theory then stands strong then. Europe gets all things nice. And enjoy it dude i don't expect to see much traffic the day after release date because everyone is going to GT5 ROBOTS:tup::cheers:

Dude my gamestop has the standard editions i say them un-boxing it last Thursday when i went it. To ask if i could pick it up that friday. The guy was going to say yes but his jerk off boss said wait release date around 11ish. You should check out outer states gamestops

I'm going to my local WalMart tomorrow at midnight to buy a regular edition. When my CE comes in, a guy at my work will buy the regular edition off me for $50. 👍

But i can´t travel to Madrid. I have to travel this Saturday. 3 days playing and 3 weeks off:crazy:. (we can´t speak spanish here so...greetings from here).

Something's been on my mind all day. I bought the game saturday, and have been playing it religiously, but...

Quite a few details are odd. I won't discuss or disclose them, apart from the absence of point to point tracks in the Course Maker. And the Museum part, too.

Leads me to think that the game, as is, is not complete ; and that the day one update will make it so. You could see this as a pirates deterrent, as the cracked consoles are unable to play online.

Thing is, the update might very well erase any existing save. I'm not too worried about that last part, as I barely bronzed my B license and acquired just over 20 cars so far (3 premiums, mind you).

Anyone thinks I could be on to something, or just plain wrong ?

You're certainly not plain wrong. It is a possibility but I am very skeptic here. I think the game is what it is. There are some serious disappointements, especially the track and car list. Although we still should be thankfull for those little numbers of Maseratti, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Ferrari we got.:dunce:
 
Are we able to take shots from angles featured in replays? Such as ariel shots and shots that are outside the course that are seen in replays? I sure hope so. Replay angles sometime have an amazing view you just cant capture in free-roam, depending on how strict it is of course.
 
You have usually a set of fix camera you can use, some part got 3 some up to 7 fix camera, then a manual one, which you can move as you like. But yeah sometimes it's hard to get the same rendering. Also for example on tsukuba there's a camera on helicopter that I can't seems to be able to reproduce in photomode, which is a shame.

The more I visit this site/forum the more I want to have GT5 in my PS3!
I was looking at some video's and I had to stop otherwise it would spoil whole beginning of the game for me haha xD!
Are there people from the Netherlands? Well here is some news if you post ordered it..
TNT (post distributor) are on strike on Thursday and Friday and guess when GT5 will be released? So I hope for me and ever1 else that we all me get it on Wednesday otherwise it will be on lame**** weekend!
 
There's no reason to suspect that a mandatory day one update will delete savegames.
Plenty of people have obtained the game in advance legally and it would not be fair to punish them.

I am worried about two things. First one, how difficult are the license tests you have to do and how difficult they are in relationship to GT4. And whats with the size or the quantity of the game? Are there enough races to go because the first two leagues( amateur and beginner series) in the A spec mode doenst look so enormous in my mind.
 
For some reason, I'm really loving the menu Music. I know most could car less, but its just really good to me.

The shadows are great in general!!
I mean the "shadows" from the damage! Should have been a lot more damage in the accident than is showing... That is my point.

Yeah I see what your pointing out, but damage gets more sever a you progroess, so I wouldn't worry just yet.

But those shadows look sooo much worse than prologue, it makes no sense to me.

Yes , I know. I was so pissed of when there were rumors it would be released 1/2 days later at the day of the strikes , it almost got me a ban. Not a very good move from my side.

But since here in Holland we always get our games on the day of release , I have trust it will be here Wednesday.

I doubt I'll be taking many pictures of damaged cars anyway, unless something drastic happens to them/it/her.
