Hi Everyone.

Can somebody tell me when it´s forecasted to include leadersboards in the online mode?

I think it´s one of the more relevant priorities to be fixed.

Kaz Twittered recently that the online leaderboards will be available at the end of this month. 👍

Btw, did anyone notice that GT-TV is working now, or am I late to the party? :dopey:
 
Lately, my PS3 has been acting up. GT5 takes 4,5 attempts to load up all the way, and when I tried to watch a movie, nothing came up.
 
Update 1.04 should be out in a few days. Probably around the 20th. I believe that's the one that Kaz said was supposed to add better wheel support and leaderboards, as well as fix some other things, I'm sure. But, we should also be getting our first DLC item next week as well. At least...those of use participating in the American GT Academy will be.

One thing I also wish they would add, is an option in Arcade mode to run stock cars. I mean, when you favorite a car, I want to to be stock in arcade mode and maybe have a full selection of tires.
 
I recently won BMW concept serie tii (i think thats the name, you know the White/black BMW) in GT5 Prologue it has a decent hood view. atleast better then we used to have the GT' series. but in GT5 its a roof cam again. i really want to know why PD uses alot of roofcams instead of hood cams.:indiff:
 
Probably because, in a real race, there is no hood cam, only roof cams. A hood cam would mess with a driver's vision. The roof cam is a bit more realistic. That's one thing I like about GT, they've always tried to capture realistic camera angles.

whit all respect but in a real race i am not gonna sit "on" the car. so thats not a good reason. and there are some cars whit a hood view. the roof mess up my vision. there also seems to be diffrent types of roofviews. some are decent and some are really bad.

the roof view where you only see the hood and maybe the front window.
the roof view where you see the hood and the roof.
the roof view where you see the hood and the roof. but the car looks narrow
the roof view where you see the roof. but the camara seems the be much more to the back of the car.(Maserati, Ferrari Italia) really bad stuff
the roof view which fils the screen and you don't see the hood at all.

That hurts my eyes. What makes it worse is that you clearly know how to use capitalization and have a working Shift key.

After breaking it up into discernible sentences, I think he was talking about views that you would see in a televised race. Of course, that would make the chase camera angle seem odd.

Maybe I'll do it saturday and sunday, and if im going to be the first, I would
like to do a Race Report or something like that...

I think that update was said to be available at the end of the year. So, hopefully it will be available in a month or two :)

Importing save game from SE to CE? I don't get it. It is exactly the same game, be it SE or CE. Only difference between standard edition and special editions (collectors edition and signature edition) is packaging and the extra stuff that comes along with special editions (APEX book, chromeline cars etc.). But the game itself is always the same.

Thank you for your answer I hope this is the case as i have both SE and CE but I have started playing with SE and now that I got the CE I also got 6 cars as a gift with the CE. so I need this feature in order not to lose the progress I have made.
 
I've noticed that a few of my cars do not have exhaust backfire no matter how long I drive them (Jaguar XJ220 & Camaro SS '00). Anyone know why this is? I haven't upgraded the exhaust on either if that matters, but every other car I drive has exhaust backfire.

I finished 24h Le Mans last night. It's amazing when it gets dark, loved that very much, and also the rainbow when it started raining 👍

Started raining at like 17h for me and kept on til the end of the race. Would've preferred to cross the finish line in sunshine but yeah :[

I was using the X1, so I left the game running when I went to sleep to kill some time, set an alarm that should've woke me up in about 3h so I could pause the game then go back to sleep. But I didnt wake up and when I did wake up, 6h later, I was 62 freaking laps behind and over 14h gone.

Had to drive like a maniac to catch up, and I wasn't even sure I could catch them. But I was back in 1st with like 2h left, the rain actually helped me because I was doing pretty much the same lap times I did when it was dry and I think the AI was going quite a bit slower.

Those 6 cars you got with CE are downloadable content which can be redeemed from Playstation Store with codes you have for them. But still, the game itself is the same, so if you have already installed SE there's no need to install CE as it is exactly the same game. Just redeem your codes, download and install your cars and you're done.
