I would like to have the Long straight with the lights in the middle of the road, that you can see in the X 2010 Movie in the Sebastian Vettel challenge!

Didn't Red Bull already let out a secret regarding the X1 / X2010? Something about this seems believable. The story is too elaborate to be a hoax. Could be that they have the wrong game (but there is the Red Bull connection with GT5). I think they have accidentally leaked a surprise update. Hope so, anyway. Makes me wonder if there are other courses that didn't make it in time for production of GT5 discs... some courses do appear a little rough compared to others, as if desperately rushed in. Time will tell, I guess :)

If there are possibly unfinished tracks:

This is a flat out bizarre blog post - either a nice hint of what is to come or somebody really did no background research for their story!

...more interesting is that 2 minutes ago there were 4 comments after the blog, all saying the track wasn't in the game and was it upcoming DLC. Now those comments are deleted, and there is only one new one. ?????

At first I was gonna call shenanigans, but it doesn't come off as a article written by someone who doesn't know what they are saying and seeing as GT5 seems to be the only game they are promoting, it seems very legitimate. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets removed given this isn't the first time they've let something out of the bag way too early.

I hope you are right and tend to agree - with the GT5 image and all the "related" links linking to prior GT5 content on the Red Bull site it seems legit.

How about the last statement:

And what favourite cars would he love to try out on the challenging circuit given the chance? Unsurprisingly, it’s a stable of high-performance rockets that he’d certainly push pretty hard up the mountain: Ferrari F40, the Ferrari 599XX and the Porsche Carrera GT.

Is he talking real life or in-game. Since there is 0.000009% chance Porsche is coming to GT5 in any capacity I'd imagine real life, but why say it in an article about GT5?

Real life definately given that they mention a "If you had the chance" scenario, unless they know something we don't.

Ever heard of a combo update?
Well... I guess you do have a point. IMO 650MB isn't really that much to be having new contents in it. If there were a new track or cars, the update file would have probably been huge... (looking at 1-2gbs at least)

Maybe they are trying to hide something from us... (whether they were wrong or accidentally leaked some info is anyone guess...)

Red Bull do tent to promote lots of other things as well, but I do have my skepticism on this. But its just weird they are clearly talking about Pikes Peaks in GT5 and yet have no solid proof that it exists! And they deleted to comments to say they were wrong? Things are just gonna get more interesting from here... :D

Personally I thought that 650Mb was rather large.

Its not an uncommon thing to do, keeping everything on disc then unlocking them later, just ask Dice.

Like I said, its the only Game they are aggressivily promoting at the moment. There's like multiple articles dedicated to GT5 Solely. Now if its not hiding anything, then why were comments, specifically talking about Pikes Peak coming as DLC deleted? Seems fishy yet at the same time, something is being hidden.

I think that the GTAcademy2010 download was 200mb , that was enough for the Indianapolis track and 2 cars .

Um, Indianapolis track is already in the game, and 370z is already in the game, GT Academy stickers on the door can't be 200mb now, can they..

No, he's referring to the GT5P download. That was before GT5 came out.

Edit. Anyway, if you remember, that 200MB track didn't look very nice at all graphic wise.

200MB for two cars, 1 track, the physics system and a GUI with music and numerous other things. I have no clue how it was only that big.

Sometimes updates will all be the same size regardless of content. Sometimes it's easier that way.

WHY would PD/Sony fly all the way to Belgium (and I presume), take 1000s of photos of a track they weren't planning to include in GT5? This makes me sad. I do hope GT6 has more real world tracks. :)

Interestingly enough, if you add up those "leaked" tracks that weren't in GT5 (such as Bandimere, Pikes Peak, Infineon, Spa, etc.) with the 27 venues alreasy in GT5, you get a total of 40 tracks, which is exactly the number of tracks that Jeff Rubenstein said would be in GT5. Coincidence?

We should rename this the "GT5 Conspiracy Theories" thread.

The truth that there is a Lack of real-life tracks in this GT5:tdown:I pass all my time racing online on Fuji,Nurb'(GP and Nordf'),Sarhe,Monza and Suzuka!Fantasy tracks like Deepforest or Madrid really don't attract me at all so Spa and Silverstone would be :drool::drool:

What's even more interesting is that I couldn't help but notice a thank you to Bandimere Speedway in the credits to GT2. Probably another reference to the shelved drag racing mode.

to add more curiousity: i believe a saw spa's layout on Prologue's ending credit.

but for PD, they are safe. Even if the new tracks wont be there, PD doesn't have any obligation..

all sales are final, folks.. :D :D

I've been trying to do the Nascar around NoBurgerRings seasonal event but I can't even finish one lap without going off without driver aids and now my accelerator pedal is playing up so I think I'm calling it quits and will watch some old Doctor Who episodes.
