Is it normal for there to be a Ford RS200 road car racing in the European Championship? I found it strange that a car that isn't eligible for this event was able to race in it. Has this happened anyone else?

Isn't that the focus that you could not buy in the United States but could in Europe. That may be why you can use it in the european race. What I was more surprised with was being able to use that Racing version of the IS-F in the DTM races.

Funny thing about the IS-F Racing Concept is that its essentially a Lexus body put on a Opel Vectra Chassis. I guess that, along with the appropreate bodywork, makes it eligible. What I don't get is how the BMW M3 GTR can compete.

The Ford RS200 was from EU Ford wasn't it?
I think you guys are missing the important issue here.

You cannot use the car in that race, because the game won't allow it.

The AI can.

There is a similar situation involving a Jaguar in the Historic Racing Car Cup.

Wow, his place really has become a wasteland. The worst this thread got since 07 was 4 pages in 1 day but we have been on 1 page for 4 days (see what i did there :))

No connection. The Ford RS200 IS NOT a Focus. It's an older rally car. Made in Europe.

Who hear believes that the F10 is way overated. After driving the x1, the f10 feels like a fiat 500, but to be fair the fiat 500 has better rendeing then the x1

So I know this is a kind of old video, but finally saw it today..

If you want a good laugh look at what forza fanboys have done to the comments!

It's amazing how they are biased!
Are they even play GT5? I bet NO.
GT5 is worst of all, but it's on another planet from arcade FM3.Yes FM3 has better sounds (only samples, not realism), better tuning, trees and crowd. But you need to be complete idiot (or fanboy) to call FM3 better than GT5.Even when GT5 graphics are worse than in Prologue - oh my God - GT5 is almost generation above Forza (graphics - wise) - and Photo-mode shows it.

I've actually been commenting, and they call every comment "whining" when it isn't. My comments are also constantly super thumbed down and the forza fanboys' thumbed up! I find it quite amusing.

I think anyway they are doing bad to themselfs only.Because if you are racing fan - you will appreciate many racing games (even arcade ones) not to mention giants like GT or FM.
I personally wait for FM4 because their team is times and times bigger than GT - it's quite interesting what they done in this time! Needless to say - they have a great chance and opportunity to revolutionize genre and take the crown.
(With all my love and respect to PD team and Kaz.)

Don't want to start up a thread so I'll ask a question here.

Getting myself and my cars geared up for online soon.
Before I blow a wad of cash, do I need to buy a selection of tires for online eventualitys or are all compounds open and therefor free for online.

Many thanks.

Quick simple question for anyone that could know...

Why has PD removed the ability to change Traction Control settings while driving?

It seems as if there was a cheat involving the dial/button on the DFGT.
Apparently some events where TC was banned, this device over rides that.

Are you saying that events which don't prevent the use of TC adjustments are now not tuneable?

I don't own a DFGT.

Edit, too slow typing.
Well if they removed it completely that is bad news.
They do have another official wheel coming out that doesn't have this button.
Perhaps they prefer the newer official wheel than the older one.

TC settings can't be changed in normal A-spec races or Online. Basically at all.

Wow there's a massive thread going on about speculation of PD purposefully nerfing the G27. Buttons which worked before in prologue, now no longer mappable at all. That sort of stuff.

I used to own the DFGT and I loved the wheel itself. In fact if I could have added a better set of pedals I would still be driving that now.

The 24 position dial was and probably still is a unique factor on that wheel.
I fully understand the reason to take it out of restricted races but to ban it from most of the game just beggars belief.
