Skid recovery feels like god himself is on the tires. I did nascar seasonal event with it on and i went full throttle around almost every turn and nothing happened. It was so boring because i was in first by the end of the first lap. Skid recovery is crazy man, if your a Sim racer you shouldn't even look at that option

If you cant win with skid recovery you shouldn't play gt5

Just a heads up - the mods don't like you posting multiple times. In future you may want to edit your original post.

Have you guys ever happen to have this problem.. when you finish a license test and the ok button just dont appear and the car just continues to go? pretty annoying because if i have to restart the hole system i lose all of my s test results and there all gold and im on s-9
edit: the ps3 just died, thank you.

Today was a good day. :) I won the Formula GT, Nascar and Dream Car championships, and won all the seasonal events. I went up from level 26 to 28 and went from 4 million credits to 10 million. Ferrari F10 here I come! :D

Seeing as how this is the general discussion thread, I wanna see peoples thoughts for an idea I had (sorry if its already been mentioned, I searched, couldn't find it).

You should be able to have multiple cars in B-spec. Seeing as how LeMans in real life has teams of three drivers, you should be able to field two teams of three in B-spec.

That, and for godsake have a confirmation screen to restart an A-spec race. I accidentally restarted an enduro on lap 52/60.

Can't say I disagree here. That feeling you get in your gut when you see that restart button flash is horrible lol

Is it just me, or do you have to grind in B-Spec to advance. I'm doing the Indy 500 for the 3rd time, and I'm still 2 levels away from the next race. And I've done all the previous races (some more than once).

Yes, there's no way around "grinding" in B-spec. In A-spec, there's License, Special and Seasonal Event for you to Level up but there's none of that for B-spec.
Just wait until you get to Level 35-40 (FYI, you need to do the 24 Hrs of Le Mans 12 times to get the required XP).

Whatchoo talkin' 'bout? :P

Sorry, I meant GTauto. Were you can change the rims, color, spoiler etc.
When adding stuff like a spoiler, the cars spins around quite quickly and when holding triangle, the camera pans down. I haven't really noticed it before, but when I opened it up today, I notice that the car was spinning way faster than normally and I have never seen the triangle option.
So has that been updated? Or is it just normal and I just didn't noticed it before?

Thats always been there. I remember finding it annoying since day one.

Ok. Excuse me for my fault.

Something else, I would like to see to be able to change your car when you're on a track. Like in online...Now you have to quit the race and go all the way to the main menu...

This is not worthy of a new thread so I just post it here. When you repeat a race when grinding Indy for example, the days in game still pass by even though you only see the loading bar once. Be warned, you can't grind for that car in the UCD in hope it'll stay there and wait for you after 5 races.

Is it just me or did we see a McLaren F1 on a dirt rally track in one of the trailers?

I just tried getting dirt tires for my F1, and it wouldn't let me.

Was it on your Stealth car or the road car?

My road car. Is there really a difference?

Well there is. The Mclaren F1 we saw in the video was the Stealth model, which has far better performance figures.

So they allow dirt tires on it but not its little brother?

I guess so, though the Stealth is essentially a fictional design so I'm guessing you could alot more with it.
