Anyway some people have God of War 3 in their hands already - not just reviewers, so I expect the action to hot up soon :)

I doubt that we will see a new GT5 Trailer soon, I don't know why but I can't imagine anything like that being on the GoW 3 Disc. Hope im wrong though :/
The positive thing is, after the GT Academy and GoW3 there won't be a new Sony AAA-Title coming for a long time, so Sony could finally start focussing on the GT5 marketing we all are waiting for.

so i am sure you also saw the end of that video which sais: IT ONLY DOES BLURAY and after that it sais IT ONLY DOES EVERYTHING, but what you did not see is that between those two there is something that i do not like at all: They put a slide for some miliseconds between IT ONLY DOES BLURAY and IT ONLY DOES EVERYTHING which sais: IT ONLY DOES ONLINE!!! So i do not have an internet connection on my Playstation 3 so i cannot play the game??? WHY SONY WHY???

I hope so because i had the same problem with GT5 demo i could not play it because i did not have an internet connection... :grumpy: And why did they put this ''IT ONLY DOES ONLINE'' for some milliseconds so nobody can see it??? This is strange... :ill:
 
They put this thing behind every US PS3 ad/promo, sometimes it differs a bit, but it just means the PS3 has a online functionality.
 
johnnyfocus you have nothing to worry about, kaz has said a few times not everyone has a internet connection, it is totally not required for disk versions. That is just Sony's current marketing campaign "It only does (insert)", don't take it literal. :)

No. Too much money. New games offer far too little for 60 bucks. GT5, however, is worth beyond it. GTA titles, too, are worth more than 60. Everything else falls short. I buy used.
 
^agreed. Not a lot of games these days, unless online or rpg, offer more than a few weeks of gameplay, if that, before getting boring. BF:BC2 for example, <10hr campaign and after that if you don't want online, nothing else to do.

Yeah you're right, because of the amount of content and the multiplayer/online mode.

I bought Heavy Rain at day one, very good story, graphics and everything but...I finished it in 3-4 days (hard mode), it's like 10 hours of gameplay:scared:. I don't feel like restarting to try new things....it won't change much, bah.
 
It' sad, to be honest. Every game is forced to have online, and that's typically its selling point. Look at COD. It's basically meant for just online. It's campaign is like...under 6 hours. With GTA, you can spend months doing either! Same with GT.

It's very easy to know what games are worth 60 bucks on day one. And let me say GOW III isn't it. Unless, of course, it's 30+ hours long. Then I could make a case for it.

Open ended, RTS and Turn based strategy games are also well worth the money. But for console, those game types are very limited.

GT is the only racing game that has truly been worth the money I paid for it.
