BT-> I'm the same here, I can wait for GT5 a while longer. But with no fresh news, we're all guessing blindingly on whats going to happen next, thats what makes me tick. :indiff:

no one mentioned Venturi because all of us can read. If he said the car doesn't have a V in it, why would we guess venturi, like morons?

Famine,

In your first post regarding this mistery car you wrote TGS but later said you confused it with the E3.
Making me very confused.

So to clear it al up (For me at least):
Will we see this car/marque be announced at E3 or TGS ?

BTW,
E3 would be ''Really Soon'' and TGS ''Soon'' to me ;).

I'm starting to think you may be correct.
Famine wrote this in post# 8713

Fiat, while grammatically correct, is not an often used word in this instance, at least where I'm from.

Holy crap, never even noticed. I guess fiat it is. Which model would it be though? The 126 I hope.:dunce:

Weren't Images at PD of the cockpit of theoriginal 500 released a long long time ago?
I don't think it's fiat.
But anyway.. Guess we should end here,
Famine is doing well by not responding anymore.

Anyone know what time the new episode of gametrailers goes up?

Apparently Jack Tretton is detailing Sonys plans for E3.

It says Friday 19th @ 12.30am, but thats been and gone and its still the Nintendo episode.

I bought a 360 yesterday and my copy of forza 3 should be here on monday. I've pretty much lost all intrest in GT5 because of this. Does this make me a bad person? :guilty:

What is with you people saying "Am i bad because i bought forza 3"........What is this, a colt, Hell, i played forza and GT4 together...does that make me bad? no that means i'm a game, .....But seriously, Your sig say's it all.

It's pretty obvious that new details of GT5 will be revealed at E3. Now the question is, will we see anything before june 15th?

i remember watching an old gt4 video were polyphony was test driving a bunch of cars for the game and one of them was an ariel atom.

i dont think it was in previous versions but it certainly would be a great add to gt5 even if its not famine's car

My brother has an Ariel Atom. A Mk2 245, in yellow/orange/white (depending on how he feels) - and not "black", as the local police force decided in court.

Nice spot, but I'm afraid that's just me being verbose again. It's a word I rarely see used in any context besides the car manufacturer. I just quite like using it - and, given it's Latin, I always use it in italics. As a scientist and someone who has studied Latin, I'm quite comfortable throwing in the odd stercus Latin phrase here and there.

Of course, it's not technically correct in this usage, but it has come to be used this way. The Latin translation is "Let it be", but it has come to mean "whim" - which isn't a massive logical leap.

I'm afraid I can't answer that question. Not because I am unwilling, but because I am unable. What Sony/PD announce where and when is their fiat (what I did there, do you see it? :D ) and I cannot see into their collective minds. However, they've not really gone to great lengths to announce any car before - the 458, SLS and even the GT-R back in the days of Prologue were just "shown" with no fuss.

I can't imagine that this single car is so important as to merit its own announcement at E3/TGS - if it appears, it'll just be in a video which will then be pored over, screenshot by screenshot, in the GT5 Master Car List, and then argued about over 200 posts. E3 and TGS will likely be the source of much more exciting news - like a clarification on the 20/70 tracks, damage, diurnal cycles, weather and, of course, a frickin' release date.

all we can do is wait and see...you know, time goes by so soon. I'm sure we'll all LOVE GT5 when it releases and release it will...unless it gets cancelled...nah..right?

In that case,I sweare to murder Mr Kaz!!:sly:

Looked at some posts putting forward the Fiat option and remembering the P,V and K and the previous appearance in a GT game of this brand, i think if it isn't Bentley like i previously mentioned although still highly possible i think, it might be Abarth.
In GT4 there was a Fiat Punto HGT Abarth, this was a car from the period Abarth was still a nomenclature put after the Fiat name.
Since the introduction of the Grande Punto and the new 500 the Abarth name was ressurected as a seperate brand within the Fiat company.
As the Grande Punto contains a P in its name the remaining car, if this theory is correct in the first place, is the Abarth 500 which also comes in different incarnations such as EsseEsse, Assetto Corse and 695 Tributo Ferrari.
So maybe Abarth will be included as a seperate brand, as it was originally when it created its own ( beautiful ) cars based on Fiat parts.

analog - Don't forget Autobianchi from GT4. The A112 eventually became the FIAT 127.

Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to let my Magic 8-ball answer all questions from this point on.

patriotzero - *shake* Concentrate and ask again.

Yes, i forgot the Autobianchi was also an Abarth version in GT4, and by the way Abarth also made one coupe based on a Porsche.;)
Autobianchi A112 was used as a testing bed for the 127 to further improve the set up first seen on the Mini without risking the Fiat name.
