It's got a gaping rear, but it's still very attractive to me. Unique in many aspects.

Forgiato Radurra Glass Wheels: it's not really glass, it's plastic ... "two inch thick polycarbonate".
Same stuff as bullet resistant glass.

Wow, every time I dare to say that, a legion comes to me and say that the Apollo is ugly as hell. Honestly I think it looks bad-ass.

@Pat_F40 - The glass wheels you posted are road legal? I mean, can you use them on your normal road car? I used to think that a wheel has strong security tests and reliability procedures before being available to retail.

If you didn't post the picture I would never believe you. ;)

Maybe in US... I remember them from a SEMA Show. But, who cares!? It's GT! :dopey: :sly:

True! But the official name is that... you know, most people don't know about termoplastics and polymers :sly: So, Glass=Transparent (generically)

Sorry to change the subject hear but reading the IGN article about the 3D thing ,they think GT5 might still get a summer release so maybe just maybe the game will be released at E3

Anyone notice the funky rear brake lights on the TVR Tuscan????
They do a blinking, Christmas tree thing :D

So GT5 will have neon and light mods too...? ;)

Damn that TVR looks fantastic! After seen that, it was worth the wait :) Never seen this glass rims before, they look amazing!

Um, I want to hear the actual sound of the car, not that stupid music. :grumpy:

I don't think it has glass rims, just really thin spokes. If you pause any other maxi________ (whatever his name is) video, other cars look like they have glass rims as well. (which is certainly not the case as Super GT cars don't have glass rims).

I said earlier today:

More speculation from "journalists" about GT5 / 3D connection.

NEVERMIND! I've never seen a Qore, and now I'm glad.

The PS3 blog now basically says ... uh... Oh who knows what they're saying anymore. I'll just quote this:

Unfortunately, our feature did not make it clear that the 2D game footage was included for demonstration purposes only. We apologize for the erroneous inference that 3D versions of LBP, Wipeout HD, Killzone 2, Gran Turismo 5 or Super Stardust HD are in production

I must need a break from the interwebs. :banghead:

I don't know guys. When I look at all of these "Tuned" cars I see hints of how we can customize our cars in the game. I don't think these are just cars you can outright purchase from a showroom. They were "made" using the customizing methods available in the full version.

Just my opinion of course. ;)

It's an opinion that I share and one that will be a fact sooner or later.

Maybe I am posting this in the wrong thread :dunce: but here goes..

I was watching one of the new videos posted by mimaximax, and noticed that one of the cars interiors was darkened out in a way, as such to hide the fact that they did not model the interior fully.

It is in the news section(8 more Super GT videos)

The video itself is when he shows the replay of the Lexus Bandai Direzza SC430 GT500 2006, and a newer version of it.

As you get close to the 2006 model the interior seems all darkened out like, while the newer model shows a good amount of interior detail.
I tried my best to see inside and it is noticeably darker.

The only car with a somewhat darkened interior was the GTR proto which had no interior. You can still see some light get through so it is not as dark as the proto, but not too far off.

I just notice it and was wondering does anybody see what I am seeing

I think most of us think this way, including myself. To have 'Tuned by GT' cars in GT5 would take some of the fun away of doing it yourself.

I hope you're joking about the glass wheels.
All the cars in that video have the same effect, if the wheels are moving, you can't see the spokes. Look at the Amuse 380, it has it's stock wheels on but they look like the TVR wheels as well.

Time will tell us :sly: I just think those are "glass" wheels. Watching the video offscreen, that's the effect. And the black interior-exterior label... :dunce:

I am certain they are not "glass" wheels, even if PD were to include them, those on the Tuscan don't have the bolts in the rim which hold the polycarbonate in place, which they must have.

^ I can see the black ring that the bolts are attatched to...

@Rem20: I think that maybe it is the windows are tinted...
