Thats not only one we say it at Nurburgring gameplay for the first time. it was black ..I hope it includes many colours.. yellow Blue etc

I'll take mine in British Racing Green. It's suttle but still has that hint of green that I fell in love with.

Expect it to be in all original colours available ( although IRL i believe you could have it in any colour you wanted ) and i will take my original F1 in silver please. ;)
And other possible versions i have not yet decided on.

Nice video. I really cant wait to see that epic interior view. I'm just hoping a Gallardo video comes along soon and perhaps an interior view of the F1. I'd love to see an Enzo too :sly:.

It's silly seeing that Lotus in such a group of supercars. And that fact that it holds onto 2nd despite there being an F1, Corvette ZR1, Enzo Ferrari, 458 Italia, GTbyCitroen and a GTR Spec-V nipping at its heels.

Edit: But I think it's because they don't want to put another new supercar in the mix. That would spoil half of the fun of finding more new cars.

More importantly, i think, they're being respectful to Lotus as they've been in GT from the start and although it is still respected and still building great cars the Esprit V8 is their last and only true supercar ( it is starting to become a classic especially in that pack of more recent cars, still love it though ).

Its simple, the Lotus was holding them up. Hence why the lead car is so far ahead.

The 'Ring is a very narrow circuit, it is difficult to overtake.

Yes, exactly. Bu they could have easily avoided that by adding another supercar, even one from GT4, to make it more competitive.

But it's all fine to me. The replay is very beautiful.

If you listen carefully in the GTR spec-V vid the citroen GT is powered by some sort of petrol engine, rather than the fuel-cell in Prologue.

458 sound is the SAME of the F430 in GT5:P... and a worst thing, Enzo sound I think it's the same of the PSP version!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yuck:
Engine suond was,is and will be one of the weak spot of the game since gt1 and this make me very concerned!!!PD make auto with 500k polygons but are unable to make a decente engine suond,I'm very disappointed!!👎👎👎

That's actually what a Mclaren F1 sounds like, it has a metallic yowl
I'm heard a similar character from various videos of it

In both videos I figured out something really weird at least, why does the AI drive apparently like it's using a D-pad? The wheels turn suddenly, like when you're tapping the D-pad to get the right angle for a turn in older GTs, that's odd.

I watch almost every replay in Prologue and I never noticed this before. Maybe it's my bad but it just caught my attention.

Also, the rear end of the F1 it's not really attractive at all, the LM is far more sexy in my opinion. Wings, have appeal when used properly. ;) But it stills an awesome and iconic car, unique. I like it. 👍

Oh, did someone notice that the Citroen GT has a true internal combustion engine now? It's aliiiiive!!! :dopey:

Again we see the big train behind the Lotus

Even at the end of the video, the 458 Italia had failed to pass the Lotus.

It raises the question of the AI once more...

(I'm just trying to steer the conversation of the General Discussion thread away from the sounds, because there is a thread for the sounds on the first page that we can go to if we want to listen to the same complaints over and over)

umm, seriously? Again, just like with the gtr, you can't hear the individual cylinders firing. The 2-3 seconds of the F1 you hear is just one sad, electric noise.

The sound from the interior is just orgasmic, yelp, but even the outside note on the 2nd and 3rd vid, isn't just one linear sound. I know the GT5 vid is just a couple seconds and I know it's part throttle, but you should hear the individual cylinders even clearer in that case.

I think I found what they used as a basis for the F1

oops, sorry!

Yep, that raises one more question: How will the lineups be defined? By performance points? Honestly, I don't want to enter in an event and see ten fast cars and five underpowered craps to race against, because the race will be done between the ten fast machines. I hope that happens only in these freakin' demos, a Pagani Zonda would suits very nicely in that racing lineup instead of a Esprit, which is cool but no match for an Enzo or SLR.

(Trying to help taking the thread away from the sound , not because there's a thread for that, mainly because I don't really understand nothing about sound effects and engine effects. :dunce: )

It certainly hasn't hurt their sales and popularity with sim fans. I think everyone has come to expect it by now and i for one have just moved on. Wether GT5 has the most realistic engine sounds ever, or not, i will buy it, period. And so will you, and you, and you and you and you! :)

👍👍👍
agreed
However if they keep this attitude of engine noise being a secondary feature, and others keep coming along and blowing them out of the water with better car sounds, those who aren't GT fanboys will notice it and either move on or get something done, a la damage.
