Lord Vader disagrees.:sly:
* Hideous Gemballa Enzo *
Gemballa Sucks....

Everyone with some basic sense of what tradition means may disapprove this thing.....

Also, looking at this:
Ferrari_Enzo_pink.jpg

I can say that white is not bad at all....

Its kinda weird that Kaz has a Porsche , his own car and yet he cannot get Porsche to be part of GT games.

It's not weird if you know the facts. EA and Porsche have license agreement. While it lasts, no Porsche in GT. That simple. Nonetheless sad.:indiff:

btw. someone played with hue values on that Enzo.;)
p.s. I never thought Enzo was a pretty car, although I respect it for what it is, but on the other hand, that Gemballa edition, being a bit over the top, kinda makes it more attractive and suitable to the whole supercar mantra of being a bit bonkers.;)

I'm even doubting every car model in GT4 was individually modelled. The Mazda Miata S-Special lacks its distinctive rear spoiler. You would expect PD to pay more attention to a feature that instantly distinguishes the S-Special from the other Miatas.

Or the fact that there's no such car as a Miata S-Special - they just relabelled the Eunos Roadster S-Special for the North American version as a Miata (and for the PAL version as an MX-5) despite noting that it was a Japanese market only car in the name...

As with FM3's RWD EB110SS faux pas though, all it means is that the car they modelled didn't have the spoiler on it. In the case of the Eunos, that's not especially shocking because it was a factory delete option - but also because I've never seen two MX-5 models of the same specification that are still of the same specification, even down to the Le Mans - and I've been in the same place as 660 MX-5s simultaneously. A Mk1 MX-5 bootlid isn't that hard to find...

well i just find it ironic he drives a Porche and yet they cannot secure a contract from them and forza got the car. And what hurts is Kaz has Porsche so Porsche should be happy he loves there car and should be rewarded kaz of allowing him to include there car to there game

Well, I'd love the Porsche too, and yes, there's that irony with KY, but there's probably a jungle of legal crap preventing it to happen...although, there were some rumors of that license agreement expiring in the middle of this year, so maybe there's still chance after all, who knows...

Porsche has responded to a email saying they would like to be in GT, infact they said they need to be in GT but they have a strong relationship with EA since NFS Porsche Unleashed title 10 years ago. EA handle their licenses for games, for whatever reason (money, deals) Microsoft got a limited license from EA for Porsches but Sony can't or wont agree to terms.

I keep hearing this same rumour of Porsches license expiring soon for the last 5 years, I don't think it matters all that much anyway, I am sure EA will continue to hold it.

I love white cars in general and although sometimes it looks ok on some Ferrari's for a moment, I just don't think it works overall.

For example when I got GT5P I bought a white F430 thinking it was great, after a few races I hated it and had to buy another colour, that white Enzo pic above looks ok but I don't think it does in most situations (like in the indy video).

White and lighter colours are useful to expose the styling of the car in a clear manner, that's why some cars look great in white and weird in darker colors, you can say by the LFA, looks great in white and silver, but odd in orange.

Darker colors do generate some visual "pollution" when the car has a very defined styling. This rule don't apply to Gallardo by the way. ;)

I agree, the white enzo in the video doesn't look good.
Fore me some cars don't look good on white color.

Agree, i have a personal theory that if a car doesn't look good in silver it doesn't look good in any colour ( or at least isn't a very goodlooking design, some colours could disguise that ), some cars however are very colour sensitive and therefor some colours ruin the whole look as it distorts the detailing.

You might change your mind when you play it and see it on a HDTV :sly: , not a YouTube video.
All my cars in GT5P is white if there's a option.

i think white cars are very beautyfull but you had to clean them twice until they are getting their white back :ouch:

but that should be no problem in gt5 thanks to gt auto

I prefer white cars - current golf GTI is white, and I've had a few other white cars in the past too. Very easy to clean despite what people think, and remain good looking until that dusty layer turns brown ;)

I think that Enzo looks great, as does a white F430. We also have a white Aston Martin in our village, and that looks fantastic. It doesn't suit all cars for sure, but then if a car doesn't look good in white, it's not worth buying!

Personally I think the VW Scirocco looks best in white as well the new Renault Megane. Doubt you guys will be very interested in driving those cars though but just throwing it in there :P

I think you're confusing REAL GT FAN with someone who believes everything they see on the internet.

Or what they see in the GT4P bonus DVD and Attack Gran Turismo.

Seriously, he comes up with a pretty reasonable backup for his position and that is the best you can do?

I can use my ears and listen to the games in front of me. So yes, I'd believe my ears over what someone trying to sell a videogame to make money is saying. Unless of course you have video of every single car in the series being recorded?

Are your ears unable to be fooled? I know the only two cars I can't tell apart in GT4 by sound are the Ford GT and Panoz Esperante, and I don't have an "awesome sound system" and I'm going deaf and senile in my dotage.

Unless of course you have video of every single car in the series being recorded?

I know what the procedure is for each car. What they do with the data after that is their prerogative.

Your argument requires others to prove things to your satisfaction. If you choose to believe them or not, that is your prerogative - though you must be aware that by remaining so close-minded you instantly put yourself into an inescapable box where you can only ever be 100% right or 100% wrong.

However that doesn't mean you can be so antisocially rude to people who put forward quite reasonable evidence for their position while doing the equivalent of ramming your fingers in your ears yelling "LALALALALALALALA".

For instance, you've now called on me to provide proof of a discussion I'm not involved in. Why? Because I said Paulie's post was reasonable evidence. I neither agreed nor disagreed with him, but you've latched on to my post in that manner, for some reason. You've boxed yourself in with your mindset and are reacting aggressively to anything that seems to contradict that mindset. Paulie's position is reasonable and he's provided reasonable evidence. Your position was reasonable, but you've responded with "lol" and changed his quote to "blah blah blah". Open your mind, Quaid.

I love the Scirocco, I find it a very cool looking car. This is also the car I am going to get soon, I guess.

I don't want to sound lame or anything.
But why are you guys discussing car colours in a gran turismo forum.
I understand there's nothing else to talk about for the moment,
but damn... it's so weird . Car colours, sound systems, ... help!
