A.I. discussion it is, then.
They have recognized there's a problem and have been working on it, it seems.
GT5P was certainly better than GT4, we will see how good it is in GT5.
The Supra's reaction seemed fine to me, the player changed position and it reacted properly. In GT5P it would have plowed right into you.

Actually my intentions were to lighten some of you up but it looks like it back fired so as I said I'm sorry (said that like 10x's lol).

I just thought I'd bring something new to the thread that's all really, and obviously if you're going to act like an insider your going to have to fight back when someone says your aren't to keep it rolling for a short while.

This kind of stuff always happens on N4G and no one really gives a dam even when the info turns out to be true (has happened many time).

You win the internet

N4G must be full of people like you, and they probably don't give a dam because they don't own one. If you'd like to "lighten us up", do so with some facts.

EDIT: wow, people post quick

Facepalm.

You didn't learn anything, did you? The point is not to be a better liar next time. The point is don't be a liar. Period.

If you haven't noticed, the GT world is a relatively small, familiar community. This isn't just another average game forum. Don't crap where you eat.

N4g is a great place to find links to news articles. It's hardly a hot bed for substantial discussions and industry insiders, nor is it a place to learn your netiquette.

You're the wrong doer here. It'll stop when it stops, not at your request. You're one person who offended many. Expect a few of those you offended to have something to say, in their own right. If you're truly sorry, you'll be the first to drop it.

I just saw this article on N4G which says that "39% Of Gamers Who Plan To Buy GT5 Do Not Yet Own A PS3"
I can understand that because if it wasn't for GT I probably would have stuck with my PS2, but as it was a PS3 exclusive, and it was a GT title, I ended up paying another £300 in a way.

Umm I actually dropped it a while ago

I only got my PS3 for GT5. As such, I only have GT5:P and AssCreed II to play on it, and a handful of BD moovies - it spends most of its time on "Life with PlayStation" :dopey:

Hey, I'm Kazunori Yamauchi. Gran Turismo 5 will be released tomorrow.

Please, do not release it until every generation of the Ford Mustang is properly represented!

Frankly, GrandCobra, people getting mad at you shows exactly how much do they care about this game, and "how gullible some of them really are". Those who say they didn't believe a word you say actually did. Otherwise, they wouldn't talk to you with the tone they use in their responses.

With that said, I really enjoyed how you made them believe you actually worked for Sony. 👍

I think Grand Cobra's learned his lesson so lets stop bashing him and get back on topic.

I don't really think there was a lesson to be learned. If anything, members have learned that they shouldn't believe everything they read. Mark my words, though, they will keep doing it. :indiff:

I'm all for getting back on topic, but has anyone else noticed that the moderators either A. Didn't bother to come and see all of this. Or, B. They did it, and just let "us" have some fun?

Seems weird to say the least.

Very important question, do you have skidmarks?

Dude. Please, rephrase this.

Okay, by God, I'm going to discuss Gran Turismo now, to heck with you all.

I'm going to be veddy interezted to see just who is outraged if we have Ferrari Challenge level damage, or no weather, or no skidmarks, or hardly any 3D trees with working reverse lights. There are always malcontents who will gripe even as they rack up race miles by the hundreds. But of those people who are chronic complainers, I wonder how many of them will fall silent if the issues which were of such vocal and repetitive concern before launch are unfixed upon release. Many of us have said that we don't care, we just want the Blu-ray spinning in our PS3s, and we're often called blind fanboys for it. It'll be interesting to see the overall verdict from the group here.

Hey, with no other **** going on what are they gonna do? and what's wrong with a bit of a laugh, does it do so much damage to crack a smile once in a while I mean I know it's the news thread but there's so little news anyway everyone'll get anything that's important one way or another.

According to Geoff Keighley (GTTV's presenter) April is supposed to be a big month for many big titles, so maybe we'll see some more news on GT5 later this month or early in May.

For these two, me. The damage, I don't care. It can be turned off, according to Kazunori. Weather? I don't care, to be honest. But it's addition would be more than welcomed.

To be honest, the term outraged is highly inappropiate. The term "disappointed" would be better. I would be disappointed that such an awesome game doesn't have reverse lights on the cars it features.

As always, gimme a Gran Turismo 4 with more cars, tracks, better physics, better graphics, more things to do, and you have yourself a customer.

I think that if that really was KY with the intention of releasing tomorrow then he might delay the game for another couple of months, sorry everyone.

Everytime people write KY, I think of this:

Better than this, I suppose...

Anyway, I'm sure GT5 will be so good I'll be leaving skidmarks of my own :sly: (fanboyish?)
All I want is for the physics and mechanical damage to be "spot on", I'm sure I'll be satisfied with the rest. 👍

In my opinion, if Gt5 was going to "exceed the expectations of the fans" and "create a new definition of the genre" as KY has been quoted in saying, then it would most likely have the features claimed by "GrandCobra" and then quite a bit more.

just my 2 cents, all these delays and hype has certainly given us alot of time to "wonder".

Er no, I don't intend on smearing myself with a game developer. Even that of the GT series.

Umm dude I just cleared all that up about 1 page ago that it was all made up and fake, but KY did say GT5 will "create a new definition" in simulators so maybe the game may actually have all those features I just made up.

But the questions is, is there enough power in the PS3 to do all of those things? I personally think there is but many people say it's just not possible this gen.

the ps3 is plenty powerful enough for any game on it now. If there is any indication as to how the ps3 will handle GT5- you can look at GOW III- see how much info they used of the blu-ray disc and if there are any jitters from the PS3 on that game. Sony isn't like Microsoft, when they make something they make it to last. The PS3 is probably double the Xbox360. Just because of the cell processors, the hardware in the PS3 is second to none. It's a Blu-Ray disc player on top of a game machine. Like I said, look at the things GOW III did, then you can imagine how much of a game GT5 will be. The PS3's potential is just being realized... this is a reason why this game is taking so long to come into fruition. Why are we so worried about 3D trees and petty things like paint deformation on the cars from damage? Does anyone realize how much data a Blu-Ray can hold? 50GB+. That's bigger than some people's computers hard drives. I have no doubt GT5 will be the most massive game there is yet.
